Grammy Award-winning rapper-producer Kanye West received some unwanted attention Thursday morning when he and his assistant were arrested and charged with felony vandalism at Los Angeles International Airport.'TMZ' reports, West was arrested at an American Airlines terminal after allegedly confronting a still photographer for taking unwanted pictures of him which led to the rapper grabbing the camera and throwing it to the ground, shattering it into pieces.

Immediately following the scuffle a 'TMZ' cameraman approached West and began video taping leading his assistant to say "Give me the camera, give me the camera."
Once the cameraman responded that he had a press pass and the rights to film, the assistant reportedly grabbed the camera and ripped off the mic and viewfinder before throwing it to the ground.
The cameraman went on to tell the site that Kanye attempted to board his flight to Hawaii following the incident until police stopped him at security and began questioning West, his assistant, the photographer, and the cameraman.
When the cameraman told authorities that he had footage of Kanye, the chart-topping producer lunged toward him and said "Give me the fu***ng videotape," causing police to restrain him and taking him into custody.
Police said several witnesses were still being interviewed by airport police and that West and his assistant were transferred to the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division for booking.
The two men were later released Thursday afternoon on $20,000 bail.

This type of behavior is totally uncalled for by any citizen in this country. We all know that there is no privacy anywhere on earth, particularly at an airport. Instead of requesting that no pictures be take, we push people and destroy their property...I don't think so. Hey, it time for us to step up to the plate and act like mature, proud and powerful people.

this whole ordeal is retarded. Why is he getting arrested? I feel everyone should be arrested then if that is the case. As for the other comments. Give Kanye a break. I understand there is a price to pay when becoming famous, but damn. You guys are acting as if it was a fan taking a picture. It was the paps, and they harass and bother celebs all the time. You cant just say, you should drive if you do not want unwanted attention. Or that his attitude is uncalled for. that is just pure ignorance, on some many levels. Maybe when you live the life of a famous person one day you will understand.

I think it’s a white thing. They are such nosey busy bodies. Always up in peoples business, & so invasive.
I live a second floor and my condo faces out to the parking lot, & you see these sick f4cks! They would drive up & stop right in the middle of the driveway, just to stare. TWICE they actually pull out cameras to take photos, right in my living room!!!! I s-o-o wish I was a PISTOL PACKING marksman, so I can shoot their f45king tires out! It just happened today!
So rude & inconsiderate! You have to wonder what empty lives these creepy white voyeurs live?
