"I also have people in my family who are losing their homes and having trouble paying for the gas to get to work. So we've got to get the right president. I don't want them calling Sherri one more time asking for money. I am not Sherri Walters."
-- 'The View' co-host Sherri Shepherd commenting about how she will be affected by the presidency. ('The New York Times')

I am a jewish republican...not all jews are liberal! I do not believe in entitlement...work hard and learn to be independent and not rely on the government. You can do anything you want with hard work and determination."You can take someone fishing or teach them how to fish and they will eat for a life time." The government wants to keep you poor so you depend on them...

One poster writes, among other things: she's on point with this one though! This country is in desperate need of morally sound and clear thinking, love inspired leadership.----------------------------
Let's see now, how does an ex-junkie, using frequent abortions in place of the birth control pill, whose IQ can be traced all the way back to ancesters that had 4 legs, a tiny brain and a tendency to stand in the mud with the other dinosours, even come close to the accepted definition of moral and of possessing clear thinking? Oh! That's right! NOW, she DOES know the world is NOT flat, they told her so awhile ago, on national television. Of course! She's Christian..NOW! I cannot express in words how infuriating it is to hear these same stories over and over in the Celebrity World. No matter how repulsive they were, no matter what tactics they used or how many other lives they destroyed to get their fame and wealth, when those behaviors turn on them, and they're face up on my cart, staring into the Maws of Death itself, oh, sure! THEN they turn to Jesus. It's my Christian duty to forgive them and rejoice that they finally found Him. It's just that almost every case of Celeb Conversion appears to be ...oh, I don't know...an ACT? A Game? So OK, Sherri, You're forgiven, but no where in the Bible does it say that I am compelled by God's Word to do more than that. I don't have to like you. I don't have to be forced to watch you tarnish an excellent News and Talk Show. What terrifies me most, about you, is that your drug fried brain controls your mouth and using it you, sadly, will end up influencing young minds of the same culture, who will then lend your drug fried influence to the handle in the polling booth. And one more thing before I go,don't you dare embarrass and insult the people who sacrifice, every day,(and have all along), working, raising families, attending Church(throughout good and bad), who represent the South Side of Chicago in a manner far more worthy of praise and admiration than do you. Fifteen years I have ministered health care to those people who live within the borders of the Lake-East, Dolton-South, Pulaski-West, and Divison- North. While there are tiny pockets that enjoy inflicting misery, they are tiny pockets. The rest of the Citizenry does not need the bad rep you portray of them to the rest of the world via the media.

Tina at 9:11PM on Sep 25th 2008...and everybody else
Look...I am black and I AM NOT voting for Obama. Stop generalizing and stop stereotyping...we are not ALL on the Obama train. I don't want, nor do I need anyone's handouts or special favors. This is 2008, not 1958...and as long as no one tries to stand in my way...this black voter will continue to "rack up" the college degrees, climb the corporate ladder, AND give back to my community...provided the FOOLS in Washington don't destroy us all first! God help us all.
