"I also have people in my family who are losing their homes and having trouble paying for the gas to get to work. So we've got to get the right president. I don't want them calling Sherri one more time asking for money. I am not Sherri Walters."
-- 'The View' co-host Sherri Shepherd commenting about how she will be affected by the presidency. ('The New York Times')

I think most folks are missing the point. If the only time you hear from family is when they need something (money) and it seems to be a habit...every few months or so its I need something till such and such date then when comes time to repay...i need more time...
I will help when its needed, but it does get old after awhile when its the same relatives over and over! Even worse onse youve never heard from before call asking to borrow money, its family you do it and you dont hear from them again. At some point you just have to say NO more!

It doesn't matter wt she says. If you don't like it, dont watch it, buy it or eat it. I think the show lacks appeal. Everyday joy and elizabeth r at each others thoat. Shari thinks she is white. As for Whoopi, elizabeth picked her outfits--she is no designer!! Good God, the girl(elizabeth) is silly, stupid, lacks looks, and is a wanna be. Babs needs to retire, poor Joy--she reminds me of someone who gets stuck in a reloving door--over, over, over, step out Joy.

In this country if you are person in a minority you are entitled to many more benefits than a white person. There are more dollars avail. for college education as well as lowered entrance requirement. My daughter could not receive any funds for her college studies because she was white. Yet her friend received a free ride. She was a minority student with a lower GPA from the same high school. Maybe Sherrie's family should take advantage of these special programs. I am sure Obama received his education off the taxpayer. His family was not in a position to send him to Harvard. And if elected he will receive close to $200,000 a year until the age of 80. Now there is someone who knows how to live off the taxpayer.

Dottie,
Wow who is the pot calling the kettle black?? Bitter much? Just so you know you're racist remarks are so off...not all Jewish people have money, not all people fit into a sterotype...wake up and join the 21st century...
As for Sherri's comment it can happen to anyone who has a bit of money that a family member who has less asks for help. Not that Sherri doesn't have money but not all people have enough to help themselves and family....
Wake up and if you refuse to keep dreaming of your perfect republican America who makes it impossible for people to survive.

Joy is Italian and Jewish. I hope what I read is true that Elizabeth may leave the show. I remember when she was first chosen to take the asian girls place, they all loved her and Joy even said one time, "isnt she adorable!" Then Rosie came on and it was 4 against 1. Then all of a sudden Joy turned against her because of Rosie. Now I read that Barbara gave her a choice, stop standing up for what she believes or find a new job. I so hope she does find a new job. One where she doesnt have to stand alone in the middle of her workmates.
