This week Anita Williams, the mother of Academy Award-nominated actor, singer Terrence Howard has passed away.According to 'People,' Williams has passed away from a long bout with cancer.
A rep for the 'Iron Man' star released a statement to the magazine stating, "Terrence will take some time to privately grieve with his family. He appreciates everyone's support during this difficult time."
In addition to Howard, Williams leaves behind nine other children.
Earlier this month the 39-year-old Hollywood actor-musician released his debut album, 'Shine Through It,' which debut on the 'Billboard' charts at number 31 selling over 14,000 copies within its first week.

MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. HAVING LOST MY MOTHER IN 2002, I UNDERSTAND THE PAIN OF LOSING A LOVED ONE. REMEMBER THAT SHE'S IN JEHOVAH'S MEMORY NOW AND AWAITING HER RESURRECTION INTO THE NEW ORDER.
