Halle Berry has reached another achievement.The Academy Award winning beauty has been named the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by legendary men's magazine, Esquire.
"Well, I don't know exactly what it means but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it," Berry, who just gave birth to her first child earlier this year, wrote in an article on the magazine's website.
For her cover spread, the 'Monster's Ball' actress poses in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of former U.S. President Bill Clinton, which the magazine said was recreated in honor of its 75th anniversary celebration.
"Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it's about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind -- a comfortable state of being," Berry said.

Speaking of sex, the Cleveland, Ohio native, who dated actor Wesley Snipes, R&B crooner Christopher Williams and was married to baseball player David Justice and neo-soul singer Eric Benet, spoke candidly about orgasms and her lovers. "There have been some men in my life who have been wickedly sexy and have taught me much about sexual pleasure. There are a few men I should thank, and others I need to forget. But I don't regret. I believe that Halle is, indeed, a pretty, decent woman; however, I believe that there are other women for candidates, like the article says she said. If anything, I'd love to see other noiminees for sexiest woman, than Halle, Angelina, or other token stars. :D
The point of this article was to debate on your thoughts about this woman. All I'm seeing in certain posts (not saying any names) is a bunch of ignorance. I figured something about race, ethnicity, background, or simply color of the skin, would definitely be brought up. I'm not saying you're wrong, because I do respect each and everyone's opinions; however, if you can't argue effectively about them, what's the point of you even opening your mouth? To the gentleman that says he will be labled racist for not thinking black women are sexually attractive, you're not. You just have a specific type of woman that you'd prefer. Albeit, a charasmatic one, but worry not about humanity belittling you for not wanting to have sex with one. I'm a black male, and I find certain types of women attractve, but I'm willing to expand my diversity in that category.
Other than that, I think she's a sexy woman, but every woman is a sexy individual. If I may add, that is MY opinion.

Yes, she is hot. But where are the other lovely ladies to pick from? How can you have a poll with only one person? It is like saying I am the fastest guy in the world, check yes or no. It all depends on your opinion.

Personally, I can think of about 20 women off the top of my head that are more deserving of that "Sexiest Woman Alive" title than Halle. Sure she's attractive, but sexiest woman alive is pushing it.

Halle is BLACK....and she is a mixture of her parents...she gets her good looks from both of them...ever heard of one drop of black blood...and by the way blckmoses....just because a person is dark skinned doesn't mean they're free of caucasian blood...although I am light I am just as black as my dark skinned sisters...my blackness goes beyond the color of my flesh...my blackness is my heritage....don't take my lightness for weakness...and being light doesn't mean you're pretty....they are a lot of unattractive light and dark skinned people....the magazine has a right to its' opinion...of which I agree...Halle's got it going on....Haters...

It's amazing how these thing always bring out the nut cases sand the bigots. The sexiest woman or man for that matter is subjective. The point is it's suppose to be a fun thing not a political statement. If you're going to flip out over something as dumb as this maybe you should get a life.
