Laura Prudom: 'American Idol' Finale: The Final Two Perform
Following a weekend of tragic events for actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, Chicago authorities have confirmed Monday afternoon that the body found in the back of a white SUV early Monday morning on Chicago's West side, is indeed Hudson's missing nephew Julian King.
According to the Chicago Tribune,
Over the weekend, police issued an Amber Alert for Hudson's seven-year-old nephew who has been missing since the singer's mother and brother were found murdered in their Chicago home Friday. Authorities asked people to look out for a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859.

Local resident, John Louden discovered the abandoned vehicle on the block of South Kolin Avenue early Monday morning after noticing the license plate number matched the one police were looking for.
Authorities arrived on the scene about five minutes after Louden's wife notified them.
"I didn't look in there. I didn't touch it. I knew it was a strange vehicle," he said. "I feel bad about that baby." The body was removed and the SUV was towed away for evidence processing.
Family members, such as Hudson's cousin Rev. Krista Alston are devastated by the horrific news. "It's shocking. It's unreal. We had been praying that it would not come to this," she said. "We know it's a reality now, but it's still shocking."
William Balfour, the estranged husband of the child's mother, Julia Hudson, into custody as a suspect in the double homicide investigation.
Balfour was arrested Friday night at his girlfriend's house and has denied any involvement in King's disappearance. Since his arrest, Balfour has been transferred to a state correctional facility where he is being held on a parole violation and is considered a person of interest in the case.
According to Illinois Department of Corrections spokeswoman Januari Smith, Balfour violated his parole because he is a suspect in the murders and the boy's disappearance.

Why has it seem like more blacks are beginning the trend that whites and hispanics have been doing for decades, "killing their families". This was a crime that almost unheard of within the black community. Sure you had gang members killing each other or accidental killing of a child by a stray bullet, but black killing their entire families or consistantly murdering their children or wives, no.

im am so sorry that u lost your family!!! that a sad thing to lost is your family! i hope that you is find .and that is so wrong to do i s kill someone! and i hope that he will get back for that.. i love you& your family i wish i could have came to the funeral! im from chicago for real and he needs to have life in prison fofr doing that! lol love you!

I just lost my mother to cancer after just 3 weeks of knowing she had it,Doctor told us 6 months to live. Can't even know how someone deals with this. This was a COWARD THAT DID THIS ! Who is a sick MF. GOD don't like ugle so ... Have a great time in Hell cause thats where your going, You are just a piece of crap. To do this to a kid not to mention a mother and a brother. 10 fold is what your going to get. So very sorry Jennifer for your lost may God watch after you and guide you in life and everything you do. Dear Hudson Family, May Our Father in heaven comfort you now at the loss of your loved ones, words are not easy for you a lot are hallow and empty.Knowing the true victory is won for your family thru death only brings pain in your heart they are not gone just away knowing that one day you will meet again in glory. They will welcome you,with open arms as our Lord will also,kept the faith and pray for your brothen. Let go , Let God deal with the person that did this to your family.
