Rapper MC Breed is dead. The Michigan-based rapper (real name: Eric Breed), who has worked with the likes of Tupac Shakur and Too Short, succumbed to apparent complications from kidney failure, according to published reports.
Darryl Morris, Breed's manager, told the 'The Detroit News' that he was found dead on Saturday (Nov. 22) at a friend's home in Ypsilanti. No further details were available as of press time.
In September, Breed was reportedly playing basketball in Atlanta when he collapsed. He was then transported from the site of the pickup game to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
At the time, Morris told 'AllHipHop.com' that Breed had to be revived three times. He said a number of rappers were contacted about participating in a benefit concert to help Breed with his medical expenses. "We are hoping we can find Breed a kidney through this process, before it's too late," Morris told the popular hip-hop site.
MC Breed, who was 36, was preparing to release an album titled 'Original Breed,' and also planned to issue a DVD about his life titled 'Where is MC Breed?'

We know he has a special place where he will continue his work that God has in store for him. Our Prayers are with his family. May he be Blessed in Heaven.

MC Breed was loved by his contemporaries and fellow Flintstones...His hometown youngsters looked up to him. The Black political establishment never came to his defense; as they should have. The business community squandered is PR reach to the world - as usual. That's what I have to say...MacMan - RIP Breed!

Vulgar language and talking about sexual parts of a female is not going to get you into heaven Fox. If he was a holy person, he must had skip a few pages(like all of them)and not getting any meaning from them. Do you think Christ Jesus or his father (GOD)cuss or uses words like that when they made the first man Adam? The only thing MC Breed did in his life was make great rapping music to jam to. To me the only one that was ever his one and only one best rap is: "There no future in your frontin'." He was a good african-american black man and that is all.
Peace to his family and friends.

Gary who are you to say who gets into heaven or not. If you are going to talk about God and Jesus Christ then you should know that we are NOT to pass judgment on anyone else. We have no idea what kind of relationship MC Breed had with his Heavenly Father.

GET REAL. I'm sorry that MC Breed died, but at least his death was about the only one in the rap community unrelated to drugs, gangs, or violence. The glorification of THUGS such as zero-talents Biggie Smalls, Tupac, 50-Cent? Those are examples for YOUR youngsters?PLEASE.
If you think that it takes even the slightest talent to rhyme dirty words to fake electronics with no melody, then you have the I.Q. of a house plant.
