Rapper MC Breed is dead.The Michigan-based rapper (real name: Eric Breed), who has worked with the likes of Tupac Shakur and Too Short, succumbed to apparent complications from kidney failure, according to published reports.
Darryl Morris, Breed's manager, told the 'The Detroit News' that he was found dead on Saturday (Nov. 22) at a friend's home in Ypsilanti. No further details were available as of press time.
In September, Breed was reportedly playing basketball in Atlanta when he collapsed. He was then transported from the site of the pickup game to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
At the time, Morris told 'AllHipHop.com' that Breed had to be revived three times. He said a number of rappers were contacted about participating in a benefit concert to help Breed with his medical expenses. "We are hoping we can find Breed a kidney through this process, before it's too late," Morris told the popular hip-hop site.
MC Breed, who was 36, was preparing to release an album titled 'Original Breed,' and also planned to issue a DVD about his life titled 'Where is MC Breed?'

I think those ppl who are spitting those HATEFUL words in a time where we should mourn, are simply..how should i say... SIMPLE!!! You don't have the right to JUDGE ANYONE, I am sure you aren't perfect yourselves! No matter WHAT MC BREED said or did has absolutely NOTHING to do with his relationship with God. You should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!! When you pray tonight, you need to ask God to FORGIVE YOU!

Gary...it is a sad fact that this young man passed away at such an awfully young age. He did not die of a drug overdose, in a shootout, of a venerial disease or something negative like that...the poor guy died of kidney disease. So he sang about womens parts and sang about sex...big deal...you tell me WHERE in the Bible it says that you cannot cuss. It doesn't. The ONLY thing that is considered a sin is taking the Lord's name in vain. Cussing is only considered bad ettiquette! So, before you go judging people (which I didn't know that God gave you the right to do) since he without sin should cast the first stone; get your facts in your stories correct!
I pray for his family and for his loved ones. I am sure that if he had a loving and caring relationship with his God than he is in Heaven where he belongs.

This article misrepresents where Breed was from. He is not a Detroit rapper, he's from Flint, MI like me. He also represented Flint to the fullest. FYI it is really very foul to speak ill of the deceased, he was someones friend, father, brother,cousin and most important son.
