Oprah, don't let anyone talk you out of your trade. Remember GOD blessed you with those talents. Man wants to take them away from you. You are the major reason that Obama is in the White House. God wants you to help him with your wisdom and talent that he has bestowed upon you. I am just sorry that he didn't offer you the Sec. of State job.
Love you Oprah. Keep up the GREAT work that you are doing. DeeCee

keep to a talk show and stay out of politics, that's what she should do, keep giving to people that need it most that's what all the famous people should do. God knows they have it to give, that goes for these baseball and football players, help children and families that need it

I voted for obama and i hope he does a better job then bush who sucked, but why is it that obama is called over and over a black man when he is part white and part black, does the black part over rule the white part , his mom was white I am sure he has white aunts and uncles and grandparents, cousines, so why it is always black, he was blesses with a mother and father but only seen as a black man, there in america is alot of mixed race people , every one sees only the race they want to see, not both.

Ms Winfrey has NO qualifications to do anything in government. In fact, I hope soon she will not be on television. The American public is so gullible that they follow every whim of hers. She is a detriment to our society. Turn of the T.V., folks, and learn to think for yourselves.

Can't we get rid of this "perfect" individual, it is sickening to watch her with her know all attitude. She probably supported Obama so she could be in his cabinet. So many people have expressed disgust with her and her almightly attitude. I agree with all the negative responses you have received. Go away Oprah!

Oprah makes me sick! It's so sad that we have come to the point where we "worship" the ground she walks on. If you ask me, she's another part of the anticrist. She's no better than anyone of us reading this, and I think it would be great if we made a statement by boycotting her to dethrone her.

All this speculation about Oprah getting a political appointment is RIDICULOUS!!!!! She's an entertainer, for heaven's sake and makes billions appearing on and producing her own show. Why would she want to leave all that to be in politics and report to some bureaucrat? There's absolutely no incentive for her to do it. She can do anything and everything she wanrs to do now all on her own. Why would she want to be a bureaucrat? All this speculation is just plain stupid and very annoying. Think, people!!

Oprah Winfrey is a great woman! Many of the bloggers have called her racist. Why? Is it because she publicly embraces her race? I have never heard of her being called a racist when she is benevolent to Whites. Oprah is woman/person who truly believes in helping all of humanity. What I love about Oprah, and everyone else should too, she always exemplifes how the well being of man kind always supercedes her gender, race, and social status, and gender with OPRAH.
It is hypocritical for anyone to deemed someone as a racist for thier choice. Isn't this AMERICA? I thought this was a country where people had freedom of choice.
