RuPaul always knew how to make heads turn.
Even 15 years after he hit the top of the 'Billboard' charts with his dance music anthem 'Supermodel,' the famous transvestite is at it again – and this time, he's feeling presidential.
BlackVoices.com obtained a copy of the gender bender's "Holiday Card," featuring him as President-elect Barack Obama and the future First Lady Michelle Obama.
"RuPaul celebrates the holidays and the history-making Obamas in a commemorative holiday card of presidential proportions," a spokesperson said.
This double-exposure opens the door for what he has in store with his latest showbiz endeavor.
RuPaul (nee Rupaul Andre Charles) will break new ground as the host, mentor and judge of one-of-a-kind reality competition: 'RuPaul's Drag Race,' which will be exclusively presented by Absolut Vodka when it premieres on Viacom's LOGO network Feb. 2.

These kind of aholes are determined to portray American culture in a negative way.Maybe we can take up a collection to send all of these clowns to Iran. Just maybe Iran is right on this issue.

I don't think Michelle is that pretty. He needed to look more like a man if he was trying to protray her. I think Omarossa (from Trump show) looks like Michelle Obama.

I think its funny but to those people making comments about how First Lady Obama looks get over it. She is the next First Lady of this country and no matter how you like it, there is not a damn thing you can do about it. Hell look at George Bush he look like he about ready for the grave from all the stress he has caused the country. Let me make this real clear to the stupid white folks in America. If you do something to Obama please know that this is not 1960 and we aren't having anymore damn peace marches. Dr. King was your safehaven and he is dead (God rest his soul! So get stupid if you want we just need a reason to have some target practice!

Honey... "When a straight man puts on a dress and gets his sexual kicks he is a transvestite, when a man is a woman trapped in a mans body and has a little operation he is a transexual, but, when a gay man has way to much fashion sense for one gender he is, *snaps* a drag queen!"
Wesley Snipes To Wong Foo
so lets see... RuPaul is FABULOUS... with a FABULOUS sense of style and grace... and is GORGEOUS any which way she dresses... she must be *snaps* a drag queen ;).

I am a caucasian happily married woman, who at one time lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It just so happened that a club that use to exist down there was frequented by both Gay and Straight clientele.
I personally met Mr. Charles there at the club as I knew one of the owners and without a doubt he is one of the nicest and most charming men I have ever encountered.
Yes, Mr. Charles is a Gay Man, but the "Drag" part is his occupation and he does rather well with it! But, when the shows are done and he goes about his daily life, he is dressed as a man and fits in right with the crowd.
Now, I have no personal knowledge of what he does behind his own closed doors, but the definition for TRANSVESTITE is: a person and especially a male who adopts the dress and often the behavior typical of the opposite sex especially for purposes of emotional or sexual gratification.
Not knowing his personal business, for all intense purposes his title is rightfully "Drag Queen" which is defined as: A drag queen is a person, usually a man, who dresses (or "drags") in female clothes and make-up for special occasions and usually because they are performing and entertaining as a hostess, stage artist or at an event.
SO, for the person who claims he is a "transvestite", you may or may not be correct. But unless you have personal first hand knowledge, then by all rights Mr. Charles is a "drag queen" by profession and not a transvestite.
From having met him and knowing him, I can say that Mr. Charles is not vindictive or mean. Yes, he performs and during that performance a "persona" exists in the characters. BUT, it is the man under all that make-up and costumes that should be judged. It is the same with ANY performer. James Woods is an excellent performer, but the character he played in "Ghost of Mississippi" was a horrible person. BUT, once the make-up comes off and he is out of character, the dastardly character he portrayed in a movie goes away and the Human James Woods emerges. This is EXACTLY how Mr. Charles should be viewed!!!!
