RuPaul always knew how to make heads turn.
Even 15 years after he hit the top of the 'Billboard' charts with his dance music anthem 'Supermodel,' the famous transvestite is at it again – and this time, he's feeling presidential.
BlackVoices.com obtained a copy of the gender bender's "Holiday Card," featuring him as President-elect Barack Obama and the future First Lady Michelle Obama.
"RuPaul celebrates the holidays and the history-making Obamas in a commemorative holiday card of presidential proportions," a spokesperson said.
This double-exposure opens the door for what he has in store with his latest showbiz endeavor.
RuPaul (nee Rupaul Andre Charles) will break new ground as the host, mentor and judge of one-of-a-kind reality competition: 'RuPaul's Drag Race,' which will be exclusively presented by Absolut Vodka when it premieres on Viacom's LOGO network Feb. 2.

That's quite a twist to the popular fashion-forward competition series helmed by Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum.
Oh, and the fact that all contestants are drag queens.
Challenges will range from photo shoots, to fashion designing, to real woman makeovers, to performing with RuPaul in the first music video from RuPaul's upcoming album, 'Faster! Faster!'
The winner will boast the title of "America's Next Drag Queen Superstar," and a prize package that includes a nationally sponsored Absolut Vodka "Real Fruit" tour, a cash prize of $20,000, supply of M.A.C. Cosmetics, a feature photo spread in 'Paper' magazine and a photo taken by renowned photographer Greg Gorman to be used in an l.a. Eyeworks legendary designer eyewear campaign.

It's hardly insulting, it's very funny and about time. Frankly, I'm tired of this reverental treatment accorded the Obamas. What's good for the Republicans is good for the Democrats.

RuPaul is a man. A transvestite is another word for drag queen which is a man dressing as a woman. No surgery. If they have surgery or hormone treatments they are a transexual. The show sounds hilarious!

Never before to my knowledge has a First Lady and a President elect of the United States been portrayed in such a manner. Why this administration? Ru couldn't you have found another venue to advertise
your upcoming show? I feel that you have done a disservice to Americans as a whole and the transvestite community in particular. And some if not the majority of comments regarding Mrs. Obama are uncalled for.
Disappointed in New York.

After suffering through eight long years of Bush bashing, I'm gonna have a ball trashing the Obamas. By the way, Ru Paul IS much better looking than cabdoor ears, or the wicked witch of Chicago.

Hey Folks.......The definition bewteen TRANSVESTITE, DRAG QUEEN, TRANSEXUAL are all DIFFERENT. All you have to do is look them up....you are already using a computer so why not be able to back up what you say???!!! In my original post I gave the definitions of both TRANSVESTITE and DRAG QUEEN, go to page 2 and read it if you are that lazy to look them up! But don't make yourself look stupid and ignorant by making a blatant comment when you are wrong.

This is GREAT!! I was just wondering the other day where he was and what he was doing. THIS answers it ... I think he is fabulous, not to mention, artistically talented. His portrayal is right on.
Look forward to seeing more of it ...
For the naysayers ... this is no different than what has been done on SNL with many other Presidents, elects or standing.
