"First of all, I already know, men would be able to marry however many women they want. School would not be optional. It would be mandatory. Because I do not like unintelligent people – it's a pet peeve. If you dumb, you not around me. Other than that, did I mention the men would be able to marry women? Ain't no limit on that."
-- Best-selling rapper Lil Wayne on what the world would be like if he ruled it. (GQ)

@Megan,
You may be right, so I can pretty much classify Lil Wayne and others like him as the classic baffoon much like JJ or Step in Fetchit(sp?) right? Its one thing to play the part of a coon but its a whole different thing to create a culture around it, broadcast it proudly to the world and proclaim that this is what Black or AA life is. That is what I find highly offensive especially in light of the fact that he's supposedly "educated".

Pretty much everything wrong with urban youth rolled into one example. Funny that I have yet to run into him at a Mensa meeting. It is a shame that somehow intelligence and fertility do not go hand in hand.

If this idiot is so into education why is he so stupid. He looks like a discrace to me. The tatoo thing has him look like a educated person for sure.

He has himself convinced, now he just has to change the minds of most of the people in the US. That won't happen because he's an idiot.

Lil Wayne is just one more young black man who is enjoying using the public to fund his bank account. Let's be honest here, he isn't the possessor of much talent-and a college degree doesn't equate with intelligence. I can only hope that some of these young men live long enough-and stay out of jail long enough-to actually become adult men and begin to live some sort of appropriate life. Unfortunately most of them either end up dead or in jail and never get to the point of realizing that there is more out there than diamond teeth and a bunch of women hanging on your pants. Sad statement on the condition of an entire generation of black men-and some women too.

"if you dumb, you not around me". Obviously, he shouldn't be around himself, since he can't speak properly. If you're for education, Lil Wayne, go back to school and learn how to speak right.
