One thing we know for sure; Oprah Winfrey will definitely be there!
But when it comes to whether or not Jennifer Hudson will be at the historical inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama, it's still up for debate.
The Academy Award winning 'Dreamgirls' star, also a recording star for J Records, has been said to be locked and loaded to perform the national anthem on the National Mall on Jan. 20.
But according to a rep for the singer, she is telling you that she's not going.
"There is no truth to this," the rep told 'Access Hollywood.'
Last week, 'The New York Post' reported that the former 'American Idol' finalist was in talks to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the ceremony, but on the contrary her publicist says she has no plans to participate in any inaugural activities.
Even with a Hollywood hot-shot flack in tow, many are wondering who is telling the truth.

But after the heinous murders of her close family members in October, she has been relatively reclusive and scrapped the promotion campaign for her critically acclaimed debut recording project.
While she has been confirmed to perform at a Grammy Awards-affiliated tribute to Neil Diamond next month, a major event such as the inauguration may be too much too soon.
But maybe, it will be a surprise. Who knows?
Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has already been tapped to perform at the event – long before the Hudson scuttlebutt began.
A J Records rep deferred us to Hudson's independent publicist Lisa Kasteller, who did not respond to queries.

We love Jennifer,
However, it must be her choice whether its too soon or not. Its a personal decision. It would be great to see her and to hear her sing.

It's hard to lose a loved one let alone 3 at one time. It would be a blessing to hear her sing at this historical event but she needs to take care of herself first.

If Obama chooses her that's fine. I really don't care who sings as long as the person is dressed appropriate, respectable and decent.

May she be blessed with her grief which will take a long time in healing. If she chooses to sing @ the historic event that would be lovely however there are others I'm sure, that wouldn't hesitate to do it. Whitney Houston would fit the bill just fine, as others are keeping a close tab on this....so, Ms.Hudson do what your heart tells you.
