SHE'S A WONDERFUL PERSON WITH A WONDERFUL STORY TO TELL, I JUST WISH THAT HER ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE WOULD NOT SHADOW HER ACHIEVEMENTS . SOMETHING SO PERSONAL WILL ALWAYS BE VIEWED AS TAINTED .

Latifah,is a fine humanitarian!!
She's involved in many projects and ventures benefiting the world community. Somehow, some of you small minded people think young people will try to emulate her gay lifestyle instead of her examples of how to be a smart, strong business woman who wouldnt take no for an answer.. She was the female rapper telling ladies to not except the rude behavior of males and NO,YOU CANNOT CALL ME BITCH, as if it's some endearing term.
I dont care who she's sleeping with, mayby you need to sleep with someone, and if you are-then he or she's not doing there job well. Cause if your being taken care of in the bedroom well, honey, you aint got time to worry about other people's sleeping partners. Go out and find someone to make those toes curl up!

I don't care about a person being a 'fine'humanitarian, for if they are their 'lifestyle' will reflect it. I give her kudos as a very fine entertainer who's put out some enjoyable movies. But when you're in the public eye like that you have a responsibility to be a positive role model especially for those young people who look up to you. There is nothing positive about being a lesbian. It goes against God, against the church, against common human decency (be there such a thing)and that is not a promotion of family values! I don't condemn I just tell it like it is! Those of you who are afraid too, I feel sorry for you but I will speak my conscience! I'm certain Queen Latifah is a fine person in many ways, but she needs to straighten out her personal life, coz' how many souls she's gonna' send to hell from those who emulate her thinking her lifestyle is also part of her success? People, you need to think, especially you Queen Latifah!

The comments regarding Latifah's sexual-orientation are appalling. So-called Christian only brandish their phony faith when its time to judge. If it was 30 AD, you people would be saying 'Don't follow Jesus--he hangs out with PROSTITUTES and THIEVES--there's no way he could be a positive role model. Given the fact that she's never said she was gay and that you are all running with speculation only adds to the ridiculousness of the way that you think. She's not 'promoting' a lifestyle if she NEVER speaks on it AT ALL! You're idiots. And whoever writes these galleries should get fact-checked: You said that she hasn't released a rap album in 20 years. It was 1997. Google is VERY easy to use, people...

Mr. Williams, I don't know if you're gay or what too, but you can quit trying to confuse the issue. Queen Latifah is not Jesus and Jesus didn't engage in activities like that. If he spoke with any like that it was to help them see the light. And queen Latifah doesn't have to SAY she's gay for it to be perfectly obvious. So you can quit with that idiotic argument also. What's appalling is that people try an twist around the truth to lend confusion and nonsense an opening to further corrupt the youth who are already in trouble. People like you, an obviously intelligent but misguided individual, aren't helping. Example is the best teacher for the youth are not fooled by empty words anymore.

I've never, ever heard Queen Latifah say that she was a lesbian and I follow her closely. Even if she is, do we really want to discriminate against a woman who has indeed been a role model? What have we been fighting for all these years, people, if we cannot accept people for who they are and recognize ones' talents, abilities and achievements without discriminating against them based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, etc.? If she is gay, she does not glorify it, and we've not heard her say that she was gay. Just goes to show you how far we have to go to truly heal the hatred in this world. What a shame to judge another human being so harshly without truly knowing them.
