"I definitely respect and understand people's curiosity, but people, they have to trust me when I speak on my truth...If I say to you, 'I don't have an open marriage,' 'No, we're not gay,' and you don't trust that, well then there's nothing that I really have to say to anybody about anything, because at the end of the day, I'm living my life, and I'm happy."

If you live in LA you know that this is a true story. I just wish that other stars who are gay would just be able to come out and get on with it. I guess we will all have to just wait another 20 years when they are all old and grey to finally have them face the truth and live their lives....until then.........

The reason this issue is so disputable is that so many LGBT folks suffer at the hands of ignorant bashers. This would be much abated if "models" in our society said yes I am and what of it, now take me for my character and the work that I do, not what I do in bed. But apparently, ones character is immediately maliagned if you are and LGBT person.
Take from someone who has done public work and has been thanked for showing something positive about our lives. And at a time when STILL white people openly display who they are, just like heteros do with their partners, families, etc... people of color are left in the dust as if no LGBT people exist in our communities. Idiots!! Have you any ideas how many youth of color become undone because of this????!!!! If they are gay, well blessed be, they and a few other well rumored ones would do well to come out of the closet and say, so what, but hey, what do you think about my work?? What is it about Ellen G., Rosie O., Melissa E., and others that make them so special. Adn oh, don't get me started on the gay sports stars that are practically threatened on the field. Ignorant, whining, UN-Christian hetero BSers!!
Why is it so precious to have a Black (bi-racial, half-black) president????? Hmmmm. Duh!

you need to stay off the interent, and get some
rest, these kind of things should not make a
person, even a black person, this mad, and vicous.

Race has nothing to do with sexuality or talent. As far as the the President is concerned, maybe, it is because of country's history. Since race was and still is an issue. Hummmmmmmm. Duh!
