Hate it or love it, when Beyoncé is ready to bring a show – she brings it!
It's been two years since her last solo go 'round, and the former Destiny's Child front woman is now busy prepping for her latest outing, which is guaranteed to be a major production.
Backed by her all-female band, the 22-date trek will kick off June 21at Madison Square Garden in hubby Jay-Z's hometown of New York City. It will be followed by dates in Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; and Atlanta, among others.
The Houston native was long announced as one of the main-stage headliners at the 15th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 3. Some of the annual festival's other performers include Anita Baker, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Maxwell, Ledisi, Teena Marie and Beyonce's baby sister Solange. Following that stop, she'll tour nationwide before ending her run with a four-day stint at the Encore theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas. (Confirmed tour dates below.)

Beyoncé's fan club will get first dibs on purchasing tickets for the 'I Am' tour on April 20, and the general public can get their hands on tickets on April 25.
Since it's a recession, Beyoncé is being kind enough to make 2,000 seats at each venue available for $20.
In addition, her Survivor Foundation is also partnering with Show Your Helping Hand, a national hunger relief campaign, to allow concert goers to donate food along the way.
For weeks, the multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter has made her presence felt via promotional commercials for her new movie 'Obsessed,' in which she stars opposite 'The Wire's' Idris Elba. The Will Packer-produced thriller arrives in theaters April 24. All the while, Beyonce has been traveling abroad, perfecting her new 'I Am' show – a nod to her latest platinum-plus album 'I Am...Sasha Fierce.'
Pictures have surfaced on the Internet of Beyoncé onstage in her new Thierry Mugler-designed regalia. (The world-renowned designer has crafted 71 outfits for this jaunt, and early looks at the clothes alone prove that Bey -- as she is often referred to -- is surely bringing out her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, in a way that her fans will surely appreciate.)

OMG, the dancers in the above pic are freakin me out! What in the HELL does this woman have on? Oh, LAWD! The clothes lookin a "Futuristic Hot Mess". Beyonce said that, "Since it's a recession, she is being kind enough to make 2000 seats at each venue available for $20". Why not make ALL THE SEATS $20? I'm sure it wouldn't hurt her. She has $$$$. I'm glad she isn't coming to my home town. Thank God!
Beyonce is OVERRATED TO THE MAXILLA!

I'm calling on all of you who visit this website and read this column to SAVE YOUR MONEY and DO NOT,repeat DO NOT PAY TO SEE THE NEW EXCUSE FOR A MOVIE CALL "OBSESSED".Besides the fact that it features the 100% NO TALENT,can't sing, can't act Beyonce, the whole underlying theme of the movie is totally racist propaganda trying to pass itself off as entertainment. It's being marketed to an audience that is easily angered and moved to extreme reactions when they view the film in the wrong context. This film, along with an earlier release,"LAKEVIEW TERRACE",promotes racism on both sides and should be avoided by sensible, responosible audiences. I recommend a weekend watching sports on ESPN,or even going out and PLAYING sports than continuing to support the bogus so-called career of Beyonce, and definitely stay away from subliminal propaganda movies like "OBSESSED".

Jeremy, you must be insane to call Beyonce, a 100% no talent anything. Its obvious that you have no common sense or eye for talent. Not only is she an awesome talent but an extremely hard and consistent, worker...Get it right! Acting is just something shes doing that new! Do you..

Beyonce is sooo overrated. I predict this girl is going to crack under pressure from her desperation to be the all around greatest entertainer, top actress and endorsement queen of all time. She tries to hard and everybody knows it.

I am surprised this child has not had a mental melt down. There have been entertainers who broke down and wasn't doing half as much as her. I hope "she" knows when enough is enough. No one would fault her if she bowed out of the lime light and had a couple of kids. Her husband is damn near 40! "IF" she have kids she will go into hiding for a long, long time; bet on it. Then and only then will we see less of her.

Hey Tamala,
I thought about that one too. Maybe, if she had some kids she would take a break, mature, and mature in her music & style? But knowing how OBESSESSED she is in accomplishing everything and being the FIRST, she would have a child or two, get surgeory real quick, get back to singing in about 2 months, tour, and be in the media ALL OVER AGAIN, and take her lil ones with her wherever she performed. Her sista Solange had a child and went right back into the music scence. You would think that Jay-Z would want kids, especially at his age. They both in my opinion have done alot, made a lot of accomplishments, and have $$$$. This would be a perfect time in their lives to do now. In my opinion, I think it's time for her to be more independent and let go of Father Knowles managing her singinig career and LIFE.
