-- Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx on the possibility of marriage. (Uptown magazine)

I really feel bad for the dude, he is in a category where his status probably keeps him from being able to find the right woman,i think he is using excuses though, he has to know that every relationship isnt the same, he is definitely a bachelor, i dont care what he says, and i know he probably sleeps with alot of different women due to rumors in the past. Sad to say but he will probably be single for a long time to come, and at 43 years old that is not good, think about the children as well as yourself!!

It matters not to me what Jamie Fox's views are on marriage or anything else for that matter.
First of all, he's arrogant, and secondly, he has no morals whatsover. He is obviously too self-centered for marriage anyway, so he's doing some young lady a favor. He is extremely immature as well as sexist. Does anyone recall the nasty filth he so ignorantly spewed about Miley Cyrus on that ridiculous talk-radio show of his?!He said those things about a 'child'! How small-minded and juvenile is that? His persona is similar to that of a junior high schooler.
And he is aesthetically- challenged (not all that great to look at)!
He has become quite pompous and nasty since his breakthrough performance in 'Ray'. I will admit that he is talented. He gave a spectacular performance in that particular movie.
But he needs to come down off his high horse and learn a little humility.

I could definitely understand what Jamie Foxx is saying, however, like Dimepiece, I would not use my friends as an excuse for not getting married. For me, personally, there is a part of me, that would like to get married, but I feel that I am too selfish of me, to share with someone. I think that a person that wants or desires to get married, as to realized that they have to be selfless. You are not dealing with just yourself, but you have another person there in that relationship. You cannot be selfish.
