Malik Yusef: Blowing Money Fast
After several months of denial, rapper-producer Swizz Beatz and Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys are finally admitting to being romantically involved.
Speculation about the couple's relationship status recently resurfaced online with various photos of the two seen happily together at a party for singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. In addition, the super producer (born Kasseem Dean) was heard expressing his affection for a "special someone" on the remix to up-and-coming rapper Drake's 'Best I Ever Had.'
Swizz rhymes, "Wake up in the morning, and my baby cooked me breakfast. A** naked, wearing nothing on but a necklace...She gave me a party at the Guggenheim ... What's next? The ring? The baby? She really loves me!"

According to the New York Daily News, Dean was indeed referring to the 'Secret Life of Bees' actress and admits to being in love with her. However, he's "nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring," he laughed. "This whole song is not about Alicia. The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked, she's never done that for me."
Dean decided to keep his relationship with Keys discreet to protect their "precious" bond, not to mention aggravating his estranged wife, Mashonda, who is currently seeking interim support for their 2-year-old son, Kasseem Dean Jr., claiming the rapper cut back on his child support.
"He's been tightening the screws on her," says a friend of Mashonda. "It's becoming intolerable. Meanwhile, she's seen the charges for jewelry he's bought Alicia in France."
To make matters even worse, Mashanda's friend went on to reveal that Dean refused to "repair her heat" in her Connecticut mansion last winter. However, a source close to Swizz disputes the claims.
"The house is 30,000 square feet," he said. "The heat didn't work in one wing, not where Mashonda and Dean slept. Swizz had been paying all of their bills. On top of that, he was giving her $5,000 a week. His advisers felt that was too much, so now he pays her $3,500 a month -- on top of the bills."
"Swizz has put settlement offers on the table, but Mashonda won't say what she needs," he continued. "She just came back from Paris and London. She drives a Bentley Flying Spur and a Cadillac Escalade. I don't think life's too bad for her."
Swizz's lawyer, Dan Rottenstreich, confirmed that the hit maker "has taken care of her and his son above and beyond what's required," while Mashonda's attorney, Bernard Clair, stated, "An application is pending before the court, where the facts will be developed."

Sad situation, we are all human, although I gave Alicia a greater degree of respect & integrity!
Life as we all know has a way of correcting wrongs & indiscretion's; well let them enjoy it while it's in the ruff!
My Ex is trying to get back in the sheets after (6) SIX YEARS OF SEPARATION, due to a similar event!

Jeez all the unnecessary hate and name calling. People are so quick to judge forgetting, or not realising that news and reports on many things and celebs are inaccurate. Even if they are, no one, no report can give you the details of what is really going on and if you go around judging and calling people names, you are the idiot, the low down or the ones with really small brains.
Having said that, If the allegations are true, why would you expect anyone to remain with someone if they were no longer happy; for contributory problems by the other person? If the latter was so perfect, I don't see why details of child support, heating and money spent on jewellery should be world business. It is probably this lack of self-respect and undignified conduct that drove her husband to the arms of a more dignified woman.
People are not supposed to wait around and feel trapped in a marriage they don't want to be in before their divorce is concluded.
According to one of the comments here, they are supposed to work it out because its for better for worse as God has put it so. 1. Not everyone believes in God. 2. Without trying to be insulting, that proves to me that the author is really narrow minded, backward and unaware. Look around you and you'll find that everyone is getting divorced. Some because they made a mistake the first time, were pressured into the marriage, or entered for the wrong reason. Should they now all remain in it because religion demands that they do? If marriage was heaven, people will not be getting divorced as often as they do, even christians.
I don't care what the situation is, the man is unhappy for reasons known to him, his wife and I am sure a few. Leave them alone and mind your own business. Look in the mirror and make some changes before becoming the unqualified judge in the life of another. What has happened does not mean he will stay with Alicia either.
Most of the comment reveals needy women who are just angry and scared that women like Alicia will get the attention of their boyfriends/husbands. Don't try to trap men by making them feel obliged to work it out. The more pressure, the lesser interest. Let them go if they want to. If you are worth it, he 'll come back!

I'm so, disappointed in Alicia Keys, I had so much respect for her. I believe that, she did not give his wife any respect. But what is done behind close doors, will always eventually come to the light. If he cheated on his first wife, what, makes her think that he will not cheat on her, with someone else? In addition she had no respect for herself. I also believe in the word, what ever a man, or woman sow that he will also, reap. In other works what comes around goes around.

Yes, I sooo agree.. Swiss was STILL definitely married when he was disrepectfully parading around with Keys. Not only that.... Common sense says to the other woman, who seems to want the relationship so bad that she refuses to see the truth, even on her OWN part-- But if Swiss had no dealings with his "estranged" --- wife, Why was Mashonda living in his house, where he pays the bills, with his child....Right...they have no association...??!!--come on. And I really do not think SB would have left his wife had the home-wrecking on the part of the other woman persisted. But people can be selfish when it comes to their wants & desires...and cold to anyone else they hurt in the process to get it!
