's 2009 Fantastic Voyage is underway and sailing on the Pacific Ocean after making an overnight stop in chilly San Francisco on Tuesday.

Despite the change of embankment (due to the Swine Flu outbreak in Mexico) and what appears to be a drastic change in weather, patrons from all across the country are seemingly making the best of it.

One thing's for certain; the nightly entertainment is quite lively.

Alongside full scale concert sets by the likes of Michael McDonald, Charlie Wilson, Paul Mooney, D.L. Hughley and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas passengers are partaking in late night showcases by Motown Records' neo-soul crooner KEM, Go Go music luminary Chuck Brown and an even a daily 2 a.m. showcases featuring Old School hip hop acts.

On Sunday night, as the ship hit the high seas out of Long Beach, California, rap music veteran Doug E Fresh assembled a who's who of hip hop royalty including Kurtis Blow, Kool Moe Dee, Big Daddy Kane, members of Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five and Dres from Black Sheep for a not-to-be-missed show presented by Budweiser.

"Tom Joyner's Cruise inadvertently did something that had yet to be done in my career's lifetime," Dres (real name: Andres Titus) told The BV Newswire. "It was my first cruise, my first time sharing the stage with a line-up that inspired so much of what I do. It was the first time I opened and closed. I officially stand on the shoulders of greatness."

The party went on into the wee hours of the morning, with many of the audience members partying to daybreak with the music makers at one of the ship's many after hour spots.
