Both Atlanta-based (by way of Oakland) women have had their fair share of drama play out for the public to see. Frankie (legally known as Frankie Lons) has served time in jail and has battled substance abuse. She likes younger men and she loves to party -- even becoming a mainstay on black gossip blogs and fodder for urban radio shock jocks. Neffe (legally known as Nefferteria Pugh), on the other hand, is a baby machine. She is reportedly the mother of six children and is expecting another one from an aspiring rapper named So-Low.
Living with, around and off Cole is one of the most emotionally charged themes of 'The Way It Is'
Breaking away from the 'Heaven Sent' singer will surely prove to be more difficult than expected for her birth mother and sister, and their emotions are sure to hit a fevered pitch.
Eight episodes of the series, produced by James DuBose, are set to run.

No, bad for the BRAIN. THAT IS INSANE!!!!!!
Why did BET come up with this one? Haven't we already seen enough of Frankie and Nefie's drama on Keysha's reality show? I mean, give me a break. Do we really want to see how many different young men Frankie dates each week? How much drama do people need in their lives today. It seem to me that the two were mooching off of Keysha and stealing the spotlight? I'm not saying that the family is a bad family. That's good that they somewhat reconciled there differences. A lot of families are dysfunctional have problems, but do get through it. That show over did it and it was too much. No, I will not watch it. That is my opinion.

LORRAINE,
I am with you on that girlfriend! Come on, do we really need another Frankie and Neffe Show? BET couldn't come up with something more positive to fill that space. DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA, is what that show is! and BET! BET has went DOWN HILL. BET shows are like MTV, and other non-sense, inappropriate, disrespectful networks out there. BET used to be a positive respectful show for everybody to watch. Now, it's like the videos are so inappropriate for young kids to see. 106 N Park is a JOKE. The way those kids be acting and dressing on there. Oh, don't let me get started on the two hosts on that show and almost everybody that comes up on there.
Bottom line, there aren't a lot of respectful positive shows for the young and old. BET is don't care about the AUDIENCE, all they care is about the RATINGS! Even BET Awards, it's so inappropriate and disrespectful anymore! You have Rappers, clothes be hangin off their AZZ all the time, singers, actressess, ect.. wearing something too revealing? The President of BET dresses's inappropriately with boobs hangin out. I mean come on, "BET, IS THIS THE IMAGE YOU WANT FOR BLACK AMERICANS"? I don't care too much for her. I don't watch it that much anymore. The only black network that I really like is TV ONE! We need more positive shows and we also need more
BLACK OWNED NETWORKS!

Hey Yvonne,
BET may have the RATTING'S but as far as QUALITY it is BAD! BET's Image is BAD! Come on now, a lot of the shows on there are so disrespectful and inappropriate and 106 N Park for the young kids is an expample. BET used to have back in day positive shows for the young and old. The shows had good music, appropriate videos, IMPORTANT TOPICS to talk about, ect... It's not called HATE Yvonne, it's called an OPINION!
Girl, PULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!!

I'm glad that Frankie and Neffie are getting this spin-off, maybe it will keep them out of trouble and put some money in their pockets by having their own jobs and no longer depending on Keshia.
