Just as much of the world, I was saddened by the news of Michael Jacksons' passing. I grew up in the same area with him and enjoyed he and his family's music immensely, especially as a pre-teen. He certainly cornered the market on musical genius extraordinaire.
However, the last decade or so it seems that he had become more of a recluse and struggling more with issues regarding his self-esteem.
News reports have suggested that he had an addiction to pain killers. Whatever was going on in his personal life, it appeared that he may not have been a very happy person.
I hope that his family and friends are able to find some peace in this tragedy and trust in the Lord to see them through it.

His talent was great but that doesn't dismiss the sinful acts he commited. The flames of hell burn hot and I'd guess Micheal is pretty well aware of that by now.
