The musical legacy of Michael Jackson is, without question, sublime. From his early days with the Jackson 5 to his last released recordings teaming him with the likes of Akon and Kanye West to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the best-selling 'Thriller' album.

Over the years, his music has influenced and inspired countless artists. But only a few have dared to cover his music (before his death).

Britain's very own Charlotte Church and Amy Winehouse took a crack at the rock-infused megahit 'Beat It' a few years ago.
