Since the premiere of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' there has been widespread speculation over the identity of "Big Poppa," the mystery boyfriend of Kim Zolciak, one of the show's stars.
Turns out, Big Poppa is Lee Najjar, a very successful – and married – real estate mogul based in Atlanta. TMZ cameras were the first to capture images of Zolciak and Najjar on a romantic vacation at the Hotel Atlantis in the Bahamas last November.
Zolciak, a single mother of two, has always been mum on who was footing the bill for her extravagant lifestyle, but at the first season reunion special, her co-star NeNe Leakes let it be known that Big Poppa was very married.
"Keep your legs closed to married men," charged Leakes, who used to be friends with Zolciak.
Though Bravo has capitalized on the mystery of "Big Poppa," Najjar is seeking a low profile.
Earlier this year, he made an appearance on the MTV series 'Teen Cribs,' where his daughter, Katelin, and son, Jamen, gave a tour of their tricked-out mansion. Najjar's wife – whose name is coincidentally Kimberly – also turned up in the episode, cooking spaghetti.
The spacious estate features a movie theater, music studio, beauty salon, game room, basketball court and countless other amenities. Najjar, who appeared in photos during 'Teen Cribs' alongside Jermaine Dupri and other celebrities, has no qualms about spoiling his children, particularly his daughter, as he notes on the MTV special. BV Newswire tracked down an exclusive photo of Najjar with mega-producer Dallas Austin taken May 16 at Austin's annual fundraiser.
Ironically, Austin is still letting the public know that he won't be helping Zolciak further her country music career anytime soon. Via his Twitter page, he recently wrote: "Don't ever put that house wives b***h in serious music convo please!!! It's unfair to real talented people. It was only for broken dreams TV!!"
Last year, Austin took to his MySpace page to say: "We are not doing a song, we are not doing an album ... that was only for television!"
According to a season preview of 'Housewives,' Big Poppa will make an appearance, and Grammy Award winner Kandi Burruss, the newest cast member, will work with Zolciak in the studio.There is no word on whether Najjar and his wife are still together or whether he's back with Zolciak.

I do not believe he is going to divorce his wife. Kim is just a woman who sells herself to the rich men. As the saying goes, What ever you want to be in life be a good one. So she is good at what she do.

I also believe that he will not divorce his wife. Kim is a cold hearted snake that preys on rich men. She has basically admitted it. Why would this man throw way his family for trash that he knows is trash. Kim is his sleeping bag

Well... at least he's good looking. I had a feeling she had a thing for men of color! ;-)
Kim is cute, its time for her to branch out and do her own thing. All of the other housewives are doing their own thing, for an example Lisa Wu-Hartwell, has a string of hustles. Kandi Buruss is a singer/song-writer, NeNe is doing her thing with her domestic violence awareness gala and books, and last but not least Sheree is doing her thing with her clothing line.
What's going on with Kim? Nada, zilch, zero!!! Sometimes just watching her demeanor and the way she looks at the other ladies, I get the feeling of envy! Thank God her eyes and skin hasn't turned green!!!

Come on, let's be honest. I don't know why any of you think the women are out there with their own hustles. We would never hear from any of them if they hadn't married men with big money just like Kim is trying to do, and now are using their man's money to appear like hustlers. Everyone in America plugged their ears when Kim sang her first note, but she had the contacts. NeNe is using her husbands money and clout to do charity work, so she can look busy once a year. Sherie is using her ex-husbands money to promote her clothes and everyone in the first season made fun of it because she was so ill prepared to launch a line. She's a know it all who knew nothing. Who knows what Lisa does except use the shows fame and what's left of her husbands money to try to launch a jewelry line or something, which again if she weren't on the show would we even hear about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that they are all ok people, I'm just saying they are not "all that". If this is the first class society in Atlanta, Atlanta must be very horrified. Except for the songwriter, who really has worked hard to get where she is, I've never seen such low class people. Money can not buy you everything. They act low class, they talk low class, they are very two faced. They all lie continually about each other and to each other. I guess they forget that it's recorded. Give me any other housewives but Atlanta. I can't stand to watch the show. I've turned the channel until their 15 minutes is up.

Kim is not married why the hell is she on a show called "The Real Housewives"? She is the poster child for home wreckers. But ladies don't blame the lady blame the man, he know what hell he is doing in all this. Maybe I will send her a copy of the New York Times bestselling book by Steve Harvey, "Act like a lady, think like a man". Kim heed the title!

Shame on Bravo Tv for letting Kim pretend to be a house wife. She is a real life whore, in every sense of the word. She sells herself for money, Big Poppa is not her man he is someone else's. i feel sad for her daughters growing up thinking it is ok to be with married men, if they really want to be together then he should leave his wife, why isn't he? Then she would ONLY be a homewrecker vs. a whore. Which is worse? One thing she isn't is a housewife! She embaresses anyone who really stays home for their families! It is sad to see this glorified on TV, however it does make good tv...
