Defendant Says Robert Champion Wanted To Be Hazed
Since the premiere of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' there has been widespread speculation over the identity of "Big Poppa," the mystery boyfriend of Kim Zolciak, one of the show's stars.
Turns out, Big Poppa is Lee Najjar, a very successful – and married – real estate mogul based in Atlanta. TMZ cameras were the first to capture images of Zolciak and Najjar on a romantic vacation at the Hotel Atlantis in the Bahamas last November.
Zolciak, a single mother of two, has always been mum on who was footing the bill for her extravagant lifestyle, but at the first season reunion special, her co-star NeNe Leakes let it be known that Big Poppa was very married.
"Keep your legs closed to married men," charged Leakes, who used to be friends with Zolciak.
Though Bravo has capitalized on the mystery of "Big Poppa," Najjar is seeking a low profile.
Earlier this year, he made an appearance on the MTV series 'Teen Cribs,' where his daughter, Katelin, and son, Jamen, gave a tour of their tricked-out mansion. Najjar's wife – whose name is coincidentally Kimberly – also turned up in the episode, cooking spaghetti.
The spacious estate features a movie theater, music studio, beauty salon, game room, basketball court and countless other amenities. Najjar, who appeared in photos during 'Teen Cribs' alongside Jermaine Dupri and other celebrities, has no qualms about spoiling his children, particularly his daughter, as he notes on the MTV special. BV Newswire tracked down an exclusive photo of Najjar with mega-producer Dallas Austin taken May 16 at Austin's annual fundraiser.
Ironically, Austin is still letting the public know that he won't be helping Zolciak further her country music career anytime soon. Via his Twitter page, he recently wrote: "Don't ever put that house wives b***h in serious music convo please!!! It's unfair to real talented people. It was only for broken dreams TV!!"
Last year, Austin took to his MySpace page to say: "We are not doing a song, we are not doing an album ... that was only for television!"
According to a season preview of 'Housewives,' Big Poppa will make an appearance, and Grammy Award winner Kandi Burruss, the newest cast member, will work with Zolciak in the studio.There is no word on whether Najjar and his wife are still together or whether he's back with Zolciak.

Quieta u must didn't really pay attention....hello Kandi wrote songs that is above any singer....duh and got grammys which pay over the life.... So Kandi was in the group Xscape in the 80"s but, I think you mean the 90's but, once you get a grammy honey you are really set..she is doing a solo, writing for others and wait did you hear when she said I have own my home for at least 10 years plus other properties....hello those are investments. Unlike Sheree bragging last season oh I am getting 7 figures that man said you think so watch this...her dumb butt sat there and told everyone and he got her back...NeNe moved to a smaller house so Kandi has the talent to write and wait for Destiny's child, TLC not small no name groups...Kandi is pretty and yes maybe she could have done better because 1 child 2 at the most is too much BUT she will learn and her mom should just be there.....I think Kandi was a single mother so long she is ready to have a family for her child.

I am still wondering how Kim even got on the show. What is the whole history behind her money? I don't see blacks on OC, New York or even New Jersey housewives so why do we have Kim? The others are attempting to do something positive with their careers, what is Kim doing? You are so right Kim when you said Deshawn was the classy one. You never saw her having the issues these other ones have. She and her husband kept it drama free and they got rid of her to replace her with Kandi who just doesn't belong on this show. Try Tiny and Toya show.

I agree. Sheree' has to be the dumbest woman alive. She has nothing for anyone to be jealous of. All this time she ASSUMED her ex was still supporting her lavish lifestyle. If she had any scruples she would have done her homework and made sure the bills were being paid. Especially since they were going through an ugly divorce. She's so busy trying to impress people with what she doesn't have, her common sense evades her. Can someone tell me why her two children always look like she doesn't spend a dime on them? It doesn't take that much to make a young girl look nice. I'm sure someone in the fancy salon can fix that childs hair on a regular basis. But, as we've all seen, it's all about SHEREE'. She needs a real job.

I'll bet Deshawn left on her volition. She had high moral and religious standards and you could see that she was uncomfortable with the nastiness, as was her husband. I just don't think they wanted to subject their young sons to this.
McCarty...thanks for the info...got any more? I'm interested in knowing more about Lisa's past. And did Kim have a rich ex? Or did Big Poppa buy her the mansion she lives in and pay all the expenses? Geez, she has a chef, nanny, maids, clothes/shoes are sent to her, and she doesn't work. She will never make it as a singer...she's pathetic
