For the second consecutive year in a row, Tyra Banks has scored a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Informative Talk Show.
During the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the former model turned media personality shared the talk show category respectively with Rachael Ray, who brought home an award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show.
Since the show's debut in Sept. 2005, Banks has consistently dedicated her show to women with low self-esteem, in which she expressed during her acceptance speech.
"I love daytime television," Banks said. "I learned the birds and the bees from watching ['General Hospital' characters] Luke and Laura. I learned my ABCs, 1-2-3 from 'Sesame Street.' This [Emmy] is for the women out there that do not feel beautiful . . . that do not have time to do their makeup. . . . This is for you guys."

Tyra's hair is much better this time than that bright blonde wig she stupidly wore last year.
As far as her speech, WTF? How is her win for
_"This [Emmy] is for the women out there that do not feel beautiful . . . that do not have time to do their makeup. . . . This is for you guys _"
when T stays in a full face of makeup, an wig/weave of indian hair, & closed her teen empowerment camp in Cali " bc I no longer have time". BULLSH*t.
I my area her show is moving from ch5 fox @ 12noon to ch50WB from 4-5. SHE WILL LOOSE. Oprah is on 4-5 and NO ONE beats O.

Who cares about Oprah's ugly fat ass? She is an old hasbeen and Tyra is the new, fresh, pretty face we rather see. Her weaves and face looks 100 times better than Oprah. No matter how hard she tries, she's still fugly. Damn, even Wendy Williams looks better than her. I hope she wins many more Emmys. You go T.B! To all the haters, you're Emmy should be dedicated to them.

Tyra Rules. She does not play. She puts girls in their proper place. Roar!!!!!!!!!! I just love her.
As far as the comment about Oprah goes, give me a break . The woman is beautiful and she has class. She is the Princess of talk show, cooking shows and God knows what else. Oprah is probably grooming the Obama's.

Let's play fair here:-) Some like Oprah and some like Tyra. It's okay this is still America and we don't have to all agree but we should have the courtesy of rebutting w/o the name calling. Leave that childish crap to the Repugs...
This is Tyra's time as it was for Oprah in the past.
Congradulations...
