Runaway daytime television sensation Wendy Williams has turned on the waterworks more than once since her television show officially premiered earlier this summer.
Today, however, while the brazen broadcasting diva talked about the much-publicized Whitney Houston-Oprah Winfrey interview during her "Hot Topics" segment, she had an emotional breakdown.
"Probably one of the reasons that I identify so much with Whitney is because I am an ex-cocaine offender, America," the former syndicated shock jock said to her live studio audience.
"I spent 10 years sneaking and doing and lying and betraying. What I was looking for from Whitney was ownership, and I didn't see it," she added. "So, for me, no matter what she said in that interview, she didn't own her habit. She's still blaming Bobby and the world."

"This is just my opinion, but I know that there are millions of addicts and ex-addicts. ... It has been over 10 years at this point for me, and it's not something I'm ashamed of, because it's a part of what makes me who I am today. "

Wendy made her name off of Whitney. Why is she still causing her problems? If she is real, then she would know Whitney needs support, not more tearing down.

My opinion is that Wendy needs to applaud Witney as well as herself. To have overcome the use of coke regardless of how either one of them used it, is a blessing in itself. Lets just thank God that they are both clean today. One day at a time is what matters. God bless you both Witney and Wendy. And I love the cd Witney, wonderful job my sistah!!
Much Love, Lynn

I don't know what you people are talking about but it was the most revealing interview Whitney's ever given about her drug use. What more do you people want? She didn't blame Bobby for everything. I thought Whitney answered all the questions honestly. Let he without sin cast the first stone.

We are not perfect but everyday striving for perfection. Let us continue to pray for her that she will continue to make progress. I truly believe she wants to make a change and she took the first step. Keep your head up Whitney because no matter what you do people will always have something to say be it good or bad.

I'm so happy that she finally came clean. I had heard that there would be news like this in my clairvoyant psychic readings, because I always had a feeling about it. Now we know!
