Although he's having one hell of a week getting bashed by what seems to be everyone in the mainstream media – since calling out MTV during Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech, Kanye West may have a better shot at love from the black community.BET just announced that he has garnered nine nominations for 'The BET Hip Hop Awards '09.'
The Def Jam Records rap superstar leads the pack of nominees, which also includes Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, T-Pain, T.I., Fabolous and Drake.

Even President Obama said Kanye was an idiot for what he did. He made that comment off record during an interview when asked about
Kanye West's actions during the MTV Awards...
Kanye have you never understood the meaning of practicing a little
civility!!!

Of course, BET loves Kayne. BET is disrespectful like Kayne. BET Network period is disrespectful, offensive, and ignorant! This is how they get their rattings. That Michael Jackson Tribute was a "Hot Ghetto Mess"! That tribute did not represent Michael at all? They need to get their act together and take notes from my # 1 Black Owned Network "TV ONE"! Now, that is a respectable network. NO, I won't be watching BET Sorry Hip Hop Awards!

Are you guys kidding me.Saying BET tribute to MJ was a hott mess, that was the best tribute i have ever seen. They actually dedicated the whole show to MJ,MTV gave him 10 minutes and after that the whole show was about rock music.you people are sell outs and need a wake up call, this is why the younger crowd does not respect the older crowd. You othere black people know the only reason you guys are dogging Kanye is too fit in with the white crowd.

I just want to say before I make comment; I have noticed when people like myself make a comment that's not racial, out of hatred, ect.. sometimes gets bumped off the blogs? I don't understand, why are some people on here and are able to post such HATEFUL, DISRESPECTFUL, OFFENSIVE, and RACIST comments and get away with it? It doesn't matter if you click to "Report This", these people are still on here and nothing is DONE? BV, Please take those that shouldn't be on here off? That's not right and not fare.
Back to my comment, I too will not be watching BET Awards. BET is a disrespectful network! When Ms. Debra became President of BET, I noticed the change in format and a negative change in their programs. I don't think BET will ever change and will keep on being disrespectful and offensive to others.
I will be watching my son DJ STAR on SOUND CLICK one day winning award!
Are you tired of the ol same ol same ol and need something that you can bump in the club, at home, on your I-Pod, and car to? Check out my son DJ STAR on SOUND CLICK (Instrumental Beats/General Beats)!
My son's beats are FRESH and on FIRE! Please take the time to check him out and please sign in to leave comments. He would appreciate that!
Please, spread the word, show some love, and support!!!!

DeeDee, I find what Kanye did was very rude. I find him disrespectful, offensive, and ignorant. Look at his picture here holding his dic* with a bottle in his hand. Give me a break! Many of us try way to hard to look tough or cool. It's embarrassing. This is not what I want my man to look like. This is not how a real man behaves. A real man is respectful. A real man doesn't hold his dic* in public. A real man doesn't have to try so hard to be cool. We as black women have to demand more from our men!!

Ms Unique, maybe because YOU show the same type of behavior as Kanye.
DimePiece/Ms Unique/Urbanprincess aren't you the same person?! Go ahead and start fussing and foaming at the mouth.
This isn't the place or the time to promote your son and his music. I'm sure that you have a monetary investment in it. People like you are just trying to take advantage of a comment board and use it to your own pathetic needs. Bottom feeders all of you!
Like another poster in a previous blog commented, AOL should start charging you for that stuff you post about your child everyday.
