Defendant Says Robert Champion Wanted To Be Hazed
Just when it seemed like 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kim Zolciak's pop star ambitions would have to be put on hold, things have now been smoothed out for the single mom.
On the latest season of the hit Bravo series 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' new cast member Kandi Burruss of Xscape fame helped re-work Zolciak's song 'Tardy for the Party.' During the first season, the blond vixen played cast-mate Nene Leakes a snippet of a country song called 'Tardy for the Party,' which the outspoken funny-woman encouraged her to record. She even shared studio time with superproducer Dallas Austin, which didn't yield any results. This season, she seemed to have better fate with Burruss, the Grammy Award-winning songwriter of songs recorded by Destiny's Child, TLC and Whitney Houston.
Burruss wrote the track for free, but, according to RadarOnline.com, the song's producer, Don Vito filed a lawsuit against Zolciak for non-payment for the music to the song.
At the time of its removal last week, the track was a Top 10 single on iTunes.

Now, everything seems right back on track. Late last week, Burruss appeared on 'The Wendy Williams Show' explaining that everything has been settled and everything has been 'worked out.' The song is now available digitally again.
"There almost was a lawsuit," Burruss revealed. '"Kim wrote the original version with an older guy and she had an agreement to pay Don Vito for the music and didn't pay him when she said she was going to pay him because she has so much going on, she had every intention to pay him. I think that the communication wasn't right, but they worked it out."
Bravo has since released a compilation of footage from 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' set to the dance track. (See below)There's still no word on whether or not Zolciak is recording a full album or if the single was just for show, but next week's episode is said to capture her back in the studio.

Kandi is such a real women...Now Kim on the other hand is as fake as breast and hair. I think she used people and only care for her self. I feel Kim should have told Nene she didn't want her on the track. So yes NeNe has a right to be mad everybody knew but her-NeNe had to right to get mad at Kandi but she was hurt how Kim played her...I hope Kim get what she deserve Big Papa(yeah Right in her dreams.)

Reality check Kim you can't sing!!!only reason tardy for the party is even making it's way thru is because of Kandi...I'm not trying to diss Kim but she kinda bugs me a little not sure why but she does.

Has Kandi lost her mind to work for free. Kim did not forgot to pay Don, she thought he is as crazy as Kandi and worked for free. Someone said Kandi is a good business woman, a smart business woman do not work for free. Would she work for free for everyone or just Kim. Kim will be getting paid and Kandi will be getting nothing. Funny how someone who does so much to help you, you could not be there for Kandi's big night. Kim is always getting everything for free. Kandi will soon learn what type of person Kim is-she is a user and will act as if she do not know Kandi. Nene was right, what did Kim feed her. I can't believe this is how she runs her business. Good luck with your own CD are they free too.

lol@Kim can't sing. Kim can't sing but she sure can spend money like there is no tomorrow. This clueless character should be saving Big P's money for a rainy day down the future...seriously, who will pickup Kim after everyone knows she's all about $ & brainless. Kim is teaching her young girls what to do when you can't get ahead in life with your own two feet and hard work.It's embarrassing actually.
