If anyone was wondering why 'Girlfriends' star Golden Brooks hasn't secured much work since The CW abruptly pulled the plug on the popular sitcom last year, the actress has been focusing on expanding her family.According to People magazine Brooks recently gave birth a baby girl. '24'actor D.B. Woodside is the father.
The child's name is Dakota Tao Brooks-Woodside, born Sept. 1, weighing in at 9 lbs., 2 oz., and measuring 23 inches long.
"Everyone is insanely in love with her. We're so happy," the near-40-year old actress told the weekly magazine. "My mom and dad have moved in to be around her that much more! We're already calling her our little jumping bean because she's so active!"
The couple, who announced the pregnancy in June, reportedly began dating in 2008.
Woodside, who is 40, is currently appearing on the Jada Pinkett Smith-helmed TNT medical drama 'HawthoRNe.'

Congrats to Brook and D.B. Woodside on their baby girl. Wow, 9lbs. and 2 oz + 23 inches long? I wonder where the baby gets her height from? That's a big baby. I wish them both love and happiness with their bundle of joy. I hope the twp are workin on getting married? Brooke said, that she would like to EXPAND her family. That would be nice.

It is good when you finally find your soulmate.however my belief is why not get marry? At least to offer a stable home life to your children. I hope they'll find happiness with each other.I hope Golden and Woodside would do better and marry!
