Funeral arrangements have been solidified for Ashley "A.J." Jewell, the slain ex-fiance of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper, the memorial will take place on Oct. 9 at the Ray of Hope Christian Church in DeKalb Country, Georgia.
Meanwhile, Frederick Richardson, the man charged with his murder last Saturday, was denied bail during a court appearance on Tuesday. His defense attorney alleges Jewell pulled a gun on Richardson and drew the first punch during the fatal fight.
TMZ.com reported Jewell was walking and talking after the fight, with sources saying that he didn't take an ambulance to the hospital but got a ride with a friend. The medical examiner's office said there were no stab wounds on Jewell's body.
According to a rep for the Bravo television network, 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' reunion show has been postponed, and an in memoriam note will be added to this week's episode in honor of Jewell, who frequently appears on the second season of the hit show.

May GOD continue to bless the family of A.J. and the love ones dear to him. Know that he fought a good fight and now he has finished his course.Continue to keep the faith and know that GOD is awesome in all that he does. Kandi thank you for allowing the world to meet a wonderful man he will be missed. Kandi I do not know you personally but know that you are my sister in CHRIST & I love you. Be Blessed!

I was sadened about the tragedy of A.J. but how does Kandi's mother feel now after the death, not condemning her about her opinion, but she don't have to worry about them getting married now.

Pat, if you watched the finale episode you will see that Kandi's Mom actually made amends with AJ stating that she sees that he is a good man and he makes her daughter happy. She further stated that she still had concerns about her grandchild AND his children. So, I'm sure she has peace with it. And, like you said she does not have to worry anymore about the two of them marrying. Further, he was part owner of a strip club and I am sure her Mom was not comfortable with that for her daughter. Honestly, any caring Mother would have problems with the entire situation. Her daughter worked hard and got her money honestly. The threat of Four (4) baby mamas, seriously. You know that some of them would come after "THEIR" money (Kandis) sooner or later. So Things work out one way or the other.
