While former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is making attempts to show a different side of himself, his famous ex-wife Robin Givens is speaking out against domestic violence. -- again. In support of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the 44-year-old 'Head of the Class' actress teamed up with the National Domestic Violence Hotline and retailer Marshalls for their annual "Shop Til It Stops" program. OK! magazine caught up the former 'Head of the Class' star for a candid interview in which she talks about Tyson's recent appearance on Oprah Winfrey. "I think it's great," she said. "Michael was such a hero, and to many people, he still is...There was a time I remember when Michael did an interview, and said the best punch he ever threw was against me," she revealed. "It was the first time he hit me. He remembered it exactly. He hit me on the head, and I went bouncing from one wall to another, and then I was out. It was interesting for me to have him remember it and recite it so vividly, so I guess I stand here before you hoping that he owns up to what he did." More of what Givens had to say about "Iron Mike" in addition her advice to Rihanna over at OK! Magazine.
First off, we acknowledge that 'sexiness' is extremely subjective, but since when has that stopped anyone from offering their opinion? It certainly hasn't kept us from taking note of the women who have served it up to us over and over again on the silver screen. That kind of consistency deserves recognition. That's why Black Voices took time out to compile a list of the top 30 sexiest actresses of all time. Although many of the women on our list have excelled in various media throughout their careers, we decided to rank each actress based on their "sex appeal in feature films, roles and scenes." Whether you agree or disagree with our rankings, we want to hear your opinion. Why not give us your own top 30 sexy actresses list? Please post your thoughts, comments and/or opinions in our community message board. Let the sexiness begin!

Well, I think Mike hit her so hard that she lost her memory after bouncing off of one of those walls. Instead of championing domeastic violence you and your mother should found " Gold Diggers Anonymous" Get on Oprah and tell a little of both of your history as to how you took advantage of brothers that tried to look out for you. Classic Gold diggin broads!!!

Everytime Mike Tyson opens his mouth, here come Robin Givens crawling out no where to offer an unasked opinion.
I am not the type of person that is mean spirited, but I just don't like her. She was once called the most hated woman in America for a reason. Her and her MAMA came across as the biggest, scheming, conniving, gold diggers alive. Everyone saw right through her, when they were married. Robin you are no longer married to this man and the Chris Brown thing is over. Move on.

Damn, thats messed up. Mike is trying to become a better man and here comes RG trying to drag him down to the level of an animal and abuser. She's gonna try to get some fame off of his recent rehab and documentary fame. Like anywhere he goes and gets new-found positive reinforcement and notoriety, she's gonna rear her ugly head. She don't like seeing him get paid or any fame unless she can get a piece. Otherwise she's gonna try to sabotage him. That's Haters, Inc.

I may not like Robin Givens on first impressions either, but domestic violence is unacceptable on any level and from any person. There is no way in hell you can convince me that a blow from Mike to Robin is equal to a blow from Robin to Mike. That's a joke. And as far as gold-digging, no one will ever be able to really say that was her motive, even so, if it was, I'm sure she paid for it in physical and verbal abuse time.

It is a fact, you never attack anyone. No woman should ever put her hands on a man except in self-defense, and the same for men. Do you know that little children that witness their mothers slapping and beating on their fathers believe it is not domestic violence since t.v. ads and general public news outlets only show men as examples of abusive/domestic violence. They believe the mothers/women have a right to harm their fathers for any reason. They believe their fathers must have done something to pee off their mother. Children view mothers violence against their fathers and them as the way it is-no one cares if their mother harms either of them. Also, it is not about equal strength or force; it is about trying to harm to one you are attacking-big difference. If you hit a man expect a hit in return, it is called deterence. Most abusers won't attack a person they know will respond back in kind. You should want every protected against domestic violence, not just women, and the violence of mothers on fathers is domestic violence; also, the violence children see in their homes is horrible, frightening, and emotional-no matter what parent is beating the other. They witness this violence and carry it on to their adulthood, little girls learn it is acceptable to harm and lie on males for any reason to get their way. Boys learn males must suffer than protect themselves against violent women-they are brainwashed into thinking they can't protect themselves from attacks by women.

I agree that domestic violence is wrong. However Mike Tyson has clearly moved forward and remarried. He spoke that his relationship with Robin was violent and he is no longer that person. Robin needs to move on and stop living in the past. Maybe she needs to work on her own behavior and try to find herself a healthy relationship and stop trying to destroy Mike's present with the past.
