No Limit Records founder Percy Miller, better known as Master P, is helping one troubled man change his life around.
Next week, Miller will appear on a new VH1 special, 'No Excuses.'
The half-hour show follows the New Orleans native waging an intervention of Torrie Jackson, an ex-gang member from Los Angeles, who is unemployed and not setting a good example for his son.
Jackson's girlfriend, Keisha enlisted the rap star's help to encourage her boyfriend to get his life together. In turn, Jackson completes various jobs to learn how to improve his life and stop making excuses.
Miller previously starred in the second season of 'Dancing with the Stars.'
He is currently working on his own television channel, Better Black Television (BBTV) , which is aimed at promoting positive messages and content to the African American community. The new venture will make Miller the first hip-hop artist/entrepreneur to own his own cable television network.
'No Excuses' is also produced by Miller. The show premieres Oct. 26 at 10:30 p.m. .
