Two of pop music's biggest stars are teaming up for the first time. Details are being kept very mum, but Beyoncé had decided to re-work her Sean Garrett-penned track, 'Video Phone' and has tapped Lady Gaga to guest on the new version. A video for the single was reportedly shot at a studio in New York on Oct. 7. The remix to 'Video Phone' will be the eighth single from Beyoncé's 2008 multi-platinum release 'I Am...Sasha Fierce.' The Billboard Woman of the Year will release a DVD of her 'I Am... Tour,' as well as two-disc documentary, 'Beyond the Ballad' in November. Meanwhile, the 'Poker Face' singer will drop a re-vamped version of her debut, 'The Fame Monster,' on Nov. 24. Head over to Life & Style Weekly for more details.

This should prove to be very interesting. Considering that Lady GAGA, albeit over the top sometimes, is a very talented singer and performer. Bey and Lady are different in terms of what they are marketing but both have proven that they can command and hold the attention of an audience. A very interesting collabo should emerge.

Beyonce` is a great performer as well as Lady GaGa, but this is some more "let me show this b@#$h who's #1 o betta" BS. She did the same thing with Shakira "The Queen of Belly dancing" and now Lady GaGa? The song is hott (Video Phone), and no shade on my part, but Bey you've shined enuf give some other peeps the lime light and have a seat.

That's what I have been saying all along. I just hope that Lady Goo Goo don't rub off on Bey in any kind of way? That woman is STRANGE and OUT THERE! They both can sing but, both are OVERRATED TO THE MAXILLA! I like to see someone FRESH come on the scene. Oh, don't think about them both ever touring together? You know, that will never happen being that both love to be #1 at everything they do. There would be PROBLEMS! That is my opinion.

I TOTALLY AGREE with your observation. It's true!!! Why do they allow her to perform with them, copy their style and "one up them!" She carefully plans these stratigies when another female is in the spotlight with a style she wishes she can perform to show she can do it too. Then she wears better costumes, sings more and tries to out dance them and look sexier! She would NEVER sing put a ring on it and show a conpetitor how to do everything along side her like that. Other than that she's good at HER OWN style.
