It appears Beyonce Knowles is taking another cue from her 2006 hit song 'Déjà Vu.' It was announced today that the international superstar's much-publicized Oct. 25 concert in Malaysia has been put on ice.
The show -- which drew ire from protesters detracting Beyonce's sexy performance attire -- "has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly," Malaysia-based promoter Marctensia said in a statement.
The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, recognized as the country's largest opposition group, made international headlines when they deemed the show would be inappropriate and immoral for their culture.
As previously reported by the BV Newswire, Knowles canceled her 2007 performance in the Southeast Asia country due to protesters threatening to disrupt it because of her sexual enticing stage attire.
The statement denies any "external reasons" for the Knowles' most recent deferral.
"The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the company added.
According to the Associated Press, a Marctensia representative declined to say whether the decision was induced by criticism from Islamic conservatives.
Representative's for Beyonce were unavailable for comment at press time.

Beyonce should re-schedule if, she can ABIDE BY THEIR RULES and RESPECTS THEIR CULTURE! If she can't, than she can take her tour somewhere else! The people over there aren't playin? It's funny how this tour is on hold? Does Bey really think that she can change their mind doing the hell what she wants? I say that this concert over Malaysia is a DONE DEAL!

I hope that Beyonce quietly decides to not go over there. Anyone from that country who really wants to see her need to be satisfied with videos or see her perform outside of that country. It's not that serious Bey, your safety comes 1st.
