Quincy Jones' daughter Rashida Jones Bringing Graphic Novel 'Frenemy' to the Big ScreenQuincy Jones' baby daughter Rashida Jones is proving the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree; the comedic actress has been tapped to adapt her graphic novel 'Frenemy of the State' into a movie for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.

According to Variety, she will co-write the project for the screen with 'Brothers & Sisters' actor Will McCormack. Published by Oni Press, 'Frenemy' revolves around a young wealthy heiress who works undercover for the CIA. "She has lived a life of privilege, attended the best schools and learned every language, but her obsession with spying on exes gets her into trouble and she is recruited to be a spy in exchange for not going to prison," Jones said of the lead character. "There is a comic element to it, this girl who is so conscious of social standing and wearing the right shoes, suddenly becoming responsible for these dangerous, life-threatening missions."

Jones, who is currently seen on NBC's 'Parks and Recreation,' has also starred in the TV series 'The Office' and in the recent romantic comedy 'I Love You Man.'

A Harvard University graduate, the 33-year old actress is the daughter of the legendary music producer and 'Mod Squad' star Peggy Lipton.
