You can now add Beanie Sigel's name to the list of former Jay-Z associates turned foes.
While Hov (born Shawn Carter) was putting the New York Yankees into a 'Empire State of Mind' prior to Game 2 of this year's World Series, the Philadelphia-bred rapper released a new song last night addressing his differences with the mogul.
In 'What You Talkin Bout' (I Ain't Your Average Cat), Sigel reveals details on Jay-Z's lack of brotherly love for him over the past few years -- all of which led to him venting some of his fury during a performance at last week's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia and, ultimately, to his latest verbal assault.
"I'm not really dissing Jay," he explained this morning on Philadelphia radio station 100.3 with Charlamagne Tha God. "It's certain parts in there where my emotions. ... It's an emotional record for me. When I listened to 'The Blueprint 3,' I heard a lot of shots directed towards people."
"I understand Jay, you at a certain place in your career where everyone can't go," he continued "You don't need Beanie Sigel in the building with a pre-perception that 'this crazy dude might do anything.' ... We taint his image, State Property and the place that he's at."
Perhaps Sigel will have a chance to open up for the Phillies in Game 3 of tomorrow's World Series.

Beanie needs to get his act together. Jay-z is not the one who every time you turn around he is doing something dum. Beanie get your life together first then make some good music. I wish that black people would stop blameing others and look at yourself.

I think he's mad that Shawn Carter is 40yrs old and getting paid out the a.s.s. and yet he's still living off the little money he made on those negative deplicted movies. " you get down with us or lay down".

If you listen to Jay Z's BP-3 CD the first song "What We Talking About", ummmm Beanie that goes for you too....I don't blame Jay Z you try and help people, but at some point you've got to let go of folks that aren't bringing anything positive into your life except drama....Beanie needs to chill, and "grow up"...Beanie has been spared by the courts numerous times, next time he may not be so fortunate....Move on, and grow up Beans!!!

I respect J for how far he's come and how he made it blah blah blah....BUT he never seem to have any LOYALTY!! Look waht he did to Dame...what about Foxy? Jay-Z will always be a drug dealer no matter what he does. He destroyed many black lives. He sold the weak minded the white mans poison, got them hooked, thrown in jail and killed many.
