Atlanta's Opera nightclub served as the setting for the highly anticipated season two reunion of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.' But unlike last year's drama-filled reunion, in which Lisa Wu Hartwell threatened to throw Kim Zolciak over the couch, the Oct. 29 special was relatively fireworks free.
Bravo's Andy Cohen wasn't able to muster a lot of details from the ladies, leaving fans disappointed by the most well-known and talked group in the 'Housewives' franchise.
Instead of rocking her own clothing line, She by Sheree, Sheree Whitfield wore a Dolce and Gabbana frock. One viewer asked Whitfield whether she was a lesbian, to which Whitfield replied, "Get a life. I am okay with who I am, and I like men. Sorry, Kate." She denied the rumors that she had a boob job, adding, "No, good bra."
Nene Leakes disclosed that she still has not found her biological father or taken a paternity test with the man she believes is her father because he is an alcoholic. The 'Never Make the Same Mistake Twice' author said she and Zolciak got into a fight because of rumors started by 'Housewives' stars from other counties.
Cohen probed about the Leakes-Zolciak choking incident, but Zolciak refused to answer his question, adding, "And so what? We [need to] move on to something else. Like I said, I'm going to say it again, we've moved passed it. We've had a conversation. I know she wishes me to be successful, I wish her the same f***ing thing."
Cohen joked, "Am I alone in not buying this?"
He refused to let the 'Tardy for the Party' singer keep him out of the loop about her relationship with a married man. Although Zolciak initially denied being with her mystery boyfriend, Big Poppa, who is reportedly Atlanta real estate mogul Lee Najjar, Cohen spilled the beans on that lie. Apparently, Big Poppa, who proposed to the mother of two during the taping of season two of 'Housewives,' turned up during a commercial break to give Zolciak a kiss.
"When I got the ring, I was led to believe that the divorce was over. I made a mistake," she said.
Of his wife, who is also is named Kimberly, Zolciak said, "She's fully aware. He is with me five or six days a week, [but] about six weeks ago, I was like 'I'm not going to do this anymore and here I am."
She charged, "I wish you would get the hell off of Big Poppa."
"How do you support yourself?" Cohen inquired.
"My song. I worked as a nurse and waited table at Bahama Breeze. I saved my money and have been very smart," she replied.
Lisa Wu Hartwell, who wore an outfit from her Closet Freak line, said she isn't broke but that she and her husband, Ed Hartwell, downsized instead of living beyond their means. She is still working on having a baby.
Grammy-Award winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss, the newest member of the bunch, was very emotional as she discussed the death of her ex-fiance, Ashley "A.J." Jewell. She said they called off their engagement in June, shortly after taping the series because her mother and A.J. had a blowout fight.
"When I look back at it, I see a lot of the things that she had seen, but I wish that she went about it a different way," Burruss said, adding that she was the first person to arrive at the hospital when she got the news that he died.
Part two of the reunion special of 'Housewives' will feature an appearance from Dwight Eubanks, whom many call the sixth housewife. Zolciak will also perform her single 'Tardy for the Party.'
Part Two of the Reunion airs Nov. 5 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Several times, I 've heard this reunion show was a disappointment. Is it because there was no neck rolling, finger snapping, chair flipping in your face drama???? I thought the show was appropriate especially due to the death of Ashley Jewell.
I liked the fact that Kim was put on blast. I was thinking the whole time, could the real Kim please stand up. She is so full of contradictions.
Nene's hair looked like a a bad/cheap toupee. Sheree's hair was an embarrasment. I was watching this show w/out my glasses and I could still see that Sheree's glued on bang was a totally different texture from her natural hair and it was too thick/heavy. It almost looked like a whisk broom on her forehead.
Lisa looks pregnant. Hair face and breasts looks fuller.
I just love Kandi.
On a final note, I felt bad for Nene. She is hurting about her bio dad situation and I wouldn't wish pain and heartache on anyone. It also seems as though she was dealing with some other stuff that was weighing heavily on her mind....

I totally agree with you on all points. I'm glad that they didn't play into all of the stereotypes that "people" already think about black women. Contraty to popular opinion...WE DON'T ALL ACT OR THINK LIKE THAT.
I took one look at Lisa and said.."she looks pregnant, but I guess they're going to wait for next season to air" I like Lisa, she can be a bit boring, still I wish her well.
Kim is a lying skank that makes the women look bad. Why they have this "token" even on the show is an insult to real women everywhere. They don't have a "token" on any of the other seasons...so why Atlanta (which is predominately black) I'm just sayin. I don't care for her at all.
NeNe is hurting it is painfully obvious. I know that she will be fine. She has a wonderful support system in her husband that I find refreshing.
Sheree I can take or leave her. Nobody loves Sheree more than Sheree does. She's having a good time, I wish her well.
Kandi has been through a lot. I like her, I think she brings a certian ballance to the show....still, I wish she would distance herself from Kim. She comes across as naive. It's good to see that she can handel her own. I'm waiting for the day when she has to get Kim straight.
I love the show. This is the only reality show that I watch. They are becoming so predictable. I would love to see them replace Kim, but they probably wont. If they replace anyone, it will most likely be Lisa or Sheree.

Kiara girl say it!! I don't know what Lisa is talkin' about THE GIRL IS PREGNANT! Her face is full and she has that pregnant glow that make up doesn't give! As much of a snake that I think NeNe is, she deserves to know who her father is. Her husband is trying to protect her but she needs to know. Plus, that oldest monster of her's looks like that drunken walrus who might be her Daddy.

Love the show, haven't seen the reunion yet but definitely will catch the re-run. I hope they have another season. Looking forward to the Housewives of OC! Oh yeah and please drop the Housewives of NY, they were sooooooooo boring, their homes were cheesy and they had no style. You could never tell they were socialites. Absolutely loved Hotlanta though!!!!!

You must be just as fake as Kim if you believe anything that comes out of her mouth. Kim is one lie and contradiction after the other. You have to get beyond the superficial to see that.
Kim said NeNe choked her in some store. Then why did she make her 911 call from her car in a Target parking lot?
And, maybe it's just me...but if someone choked me, I would not "invite" them to my house to "talk"
Kim is used to taking from others to get what she wants. Nevermind who she has to use to get what she wants. Like poor naive Kandi. She did everything except sing "tardy for the party" herself, and Kim took all the credit for it. I won't even get into her imaginary engagement to someone elses husband. He has showed her time and time again that he's not going to leave his wife. But for tricks like Kim, it's fine as long as she gets to spend his money....she is nothing more than a prostitute. What she looks like is not an issue to me. Kim is "store bought" cute. Fake hair, overdone cosmetics, implants, and nails. At least NeNe is more authentic. Kim wishes she was NeNe. NeNe is successfuly married for 10+ years. She has someone that has made her his priority, not just his "option" Big Poppa fits Kim in when he can. Kim is a joke. She is teaching her daughters how to spread their legs to the highest bidder. She actually believes that she can sing. I can't wait for the reunion pt. 2 to see her make a fool of herself. I don't even know why this hooker' is even on the show. I encourage you to get to know a real woman, (one that will be honest with you, and loyal to you). Unless you just prefer girls like Kim.
