Despite his forthcoming album, 'Before I Self Destruct,' leaking nearly a month before its Nov. 23 release, 50 Cent is pushing forward with the project's promo tour. The G-Unit general, who is moving the album's release date to Nov. 16, is thrilled with the response to his new material.
"I feel good that it was leaked in its entirety, in sequence, so people can hear my vision," he said over the weekend on satellite radio station Shade 45's G-Unit Radio. "I'm pushing the record up, so the album release date is the 16th. I'm expecting [the album] to do good because of the response that I've heard on the Web. It's obvious they didn't expect me to write the actual things I wrote on the album."
In addition to purchasing 50's latest work, fans can also expect to see the mogul make his directorial debut in the film adaptation of 'Before I Self Destruct.' The 90-minute film will also accompany a bonus documentary chronicling the life and times of 50's late mentor, Jam Master Jay, in 'Two Turntables and a Microphone: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay.'
