Aretha Franklin: New 'Falling Out' Music Project To Hit StoresThe undisputed "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin will release her new album, titled 'Aretha, A Woman Falling Out of Love,' at the top of next year.

According to the singer's publicist Gwendolyn Quinn, the project will be released in January via Aretha Records.

The initial release will be sold exclusively on QVC, followed by an exclusive retail release at Walmart stores nationwide.
'A Woman Falling Out of Love' is the second release on the independent record label. Earlier this year, the digital of Franklin's version of "My Country Tis of Thee," which she performed at the historic Swearing In Ceremony of President Barack Obama, was released.

The album is produced by Aretha Franklin, BeBe Winans and former Essence magazine entertainment editor Gordon Chambers and features 11 tracks including a duet with gospel artist Karen Clark-Sheard.

"I just love, love, love the music," Franklin said in a statement. "It's real music-to romance, dance and party to."

The 20-time Grammy Award winning diva recently performed at the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Special, along with Lenny Kravitz and Annie Lennox, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Taped for an HBO Special, the star-studded concert will air Nov. 29.

HBO wont be the only television network you'll see Franklin this holiday season; Quinn said she will make the national television rounds to perform songs from her first-ever holiday CD, 'This Christmas ARETHA.'
