A week following an intimate interview with Chris Brown, 'MTV News' has decided to reach out to the singer's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, to get her take on the events since the couple's assault earlier this year.
And although the 'Run It' singer may be "confused" by the public's perception of him, Rihanna feels the two can both come out on top if they spread awareness and prevent others from making the same mistakes.
"I know that he's going to take away something positive about this entire experience," the fashion icon said exclusively to Sway Calloway. "It was a life-changing experience for both of us. The best way that we can both win is if we come out learning from it and sharing with others, so they don't have to go through it like we did."
Since Rihanna's '20/20' interview with Diane Sawyer aired on Nov. 6, Chris Brown has released a statement responding to her much talked about revelations. "While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us," he said in the statement. "I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."
Head over to 'MTV News' to view Rihanna's latest interview in its entirety.

This is the only way she can sell her music. She has to put someone down to lift her self up. She has no talent to make it on her own. Her songs stink.

Media-I want you to ask rihanna what she meant by her comments that she "wouldn't drop it", well, I'll let the cat out of the bag. in the West Indies- that means; that you would not let it go, would not move on, would not let the subject go,or forget about the argument. so with that said, she continued taunting him and he let her have it. (sorry Rihanna, you should have dropped it!!! you knew what was going to happen. Now sing some songs that make sense and can be understood.(not hating on you girl, just shedding light on matters of life that need to be recognized--both of you got caught up in the moment.
