Oprah Winfrey is calling it quits.
The talk show queen's production company, Harpo Inc., announced that it will end her popular daily chat fest at the end of its 25th season in September 2011.
Harpo President Tim Bennett said in a statement posted on the Web sites of several TV stations that air the program that Winfrey would make the official announcement on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' on Nov. 20, as well as disclose the reasons behind the decision.
Broadcast from Chicago on ABC stations across the United States, the hour-long daily talk show is the top-rated U.S. daytime program, averaging 7.1 million viewers this year.

Why would she build some schools in this country?
Black folks drop out of school at a 50% rate as it is. They are suddenly going to go to a school built by Oprah?

I give Oprah her props for raising above to become a successful Queen..buts it's a shame dat a Woman whose worth a couple of Billions was forced to relocated her show...it tells you da nature of the beast when it comes to White Supremacy..It don't matter how much money you have when ur black n live in this america...I find it repulsing, that the discovery channel that owns part of Oxygen, told her to move her show or lose the network...I don't see them doing that crap to other shows whose views promote violence to our President n whose owners of those networks are worth far less as OPRAH!

You have done good Oprah. You have made your money,name and way. 25 years of success. You can't beat or deny that. There are a lot of haters out there and they are doing everything to try to bring you down, including trying to put other talk show host on top of you. Dear Oprah,
I recently learned that your Oprah Show will be ending soon. This is a heartbreak of major proportions and makes me know that for sure, this world is in big trouble. Sadly, there is no one else to take your place, Oprah, and there is no one else who wants to take your place.
I heard your best friend Gayle on The Larry King Show say that you said, "I am just like you" meaning you are like everyone else. No, Oprah, there is no one else like you – not even close.
The world does not see or hear anyone standing and saying, "I am Oprah Winfrey" or even mirroring your image. And indeed only you have set examples that make you the exceptional and remarkable person that you are.
At the end of a century, the world will know about Oprah Winfrey and your legacy. No, Oprah, you are not like everyone else. There is but one Oprah Winfrey, and that is you!!! My only regret is that I have never attended your show. Oh well… ALL THE BEST WITH YOUR ENDEAVORS!
