"I don't have advice for anybody. He got in a car accident. What the f---? You guys are the news. You're supposed to report the news. A guy crashed his car. You're making up s---. So are you reporting the news or are you making the news? ...If I crashed my car on my f---ing property, it's a private matter!"
-- Comedian Chris Rock on the media's reaction to Tiger Woods' recent car accident. (MTV News)

I agree with Mr. Rock but I feel like if Tiger and his wife had talked to the Highway Patrol even to stat what he said on his website and maybe even have a lawyer present. Talking to them would be smart if he has nothing to hide. But turning them away 3 times frustrated the FHP and now there are rumors going around. I'm glad he's okay and I don't believe the rumors but if he would've talked to the FHP this story wouldn't be as big as it is now

I agree with chris rock also, but this is the price you pay for fame, your a public figure, your always in the public eye, your private life will be go public with any hint of any kind of scandal involved. Before you sign that Fame contract (this includes politics) you better read the fine print on the bottom.

I agree with Chris. But I was not surprised when the truth came out. If it's true about the other women, I would have knocked his head into the Atlantic ocean.

I am in total agreement with Chris and you, E. Wilson. The way the press bounced on this story was like a pack of starving wolves. I just can't understand why the way you make a living and/or how much money you make automatically signs you up to be harassed by the vultures aka The Press. I do know is if God ever decides to put me in another tax bracket, I got something for these so-called journalists.

It is not okay for Tiger Woods or Chris Rock to incite "brotherhood celebratism" into any activity that will lead to discrimination against black men and/or women at a later date. The justice system is to be used exact at all times with all people. If and we know now, his wife committed battery against Tiger, and his wife should go to jail as in the case of Chris Brown. It is better for the press to live in front of Tiger Woods home than a black person who cannot prove their innoncense and who does not have the means to hire an attorney to stop an illegal activity being aimed at them. I have black sons and daughters and they are all off limits for any type of "domestic abuse" by anyone.
President Obama was elected because he got it "correct".

Well apparently there was no hard evidence to corroborate the media generated rumors that Tiger was bashed by his wife, or the local authorities would have pursued this further, with or without Tigers testimony. None of which is the point ... Mr. Rock correctly points out the obvious, which is that NONE OF THIS is our business, celebrity or not. The media are blood sucking, lower than pond scum whores and every day that they pursue this "story" they prove what Edward R. Murrow said about TV's eventual demise when "entertainment became more important than education". That and the "dumbing down of America" that Daniel Patrick Moinahan spoke of. It has come to pass ... sadly.

The press would not have had a story if the cheater wasn't trying to leave his house after his wife did what any wife should do when their husband cheats, whip his sorry behind!
I have no pity for the liar and cheater, and his wife should have act like his head was a golf ball and knocked it off!

I agree with Chris rock, although there was more to this. It was a private matter. the news media likes to take things and contort them into something that is not. or as they say there private sources. but this incident occurred on his property and the only was the highway patrol was brought in cause he back intoa public and city fire hydrant. that is it ends of story. of course now we know the rest. BUT ITs still non of our business. its for himself and his wife to take care of not america.

I bet if it was a white guy Chris would have been doing his white guy impression that he does so well and would have something to say about it everywhere he went. But Chris is married to a white girl too and he don't want to give her any ideas about taking a club to his head or those teeth of his. Chris you suck
