Another one bites the dust.
Just one month after Oprah Winfrey announced she would be ending her 25-year reign as the most influential talk show host of all time, Tyra Banks said she plans to throw in the towel as well.
The 36-year-old model-turned-media-mogul tells People magazine, '"This will be the last season of 'The Tyra Show.'"
In an open letter on her Website, Banks writes, "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart, and I salute you, my amazing family of viewers; without you, there never would have been a 'Tyra Show.' I really love you all."
Banks plans to focus on launching her film company, Bankable Studios, and develop additional women-centric programs. The new move is said to have come at the encouragement of 'Precious' producers Tyler Perry and Winfrey, who, according to an insider, "gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing."
"My next steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are," Banks said.
Her hit talk show, which has won two Emmy Awards, will end its five-year run in the spring of 2010.
Banks will remain the host and a producer on her highly successful CW reality competition 'America's Next Top Model,' which returns for its 15th season in February. She will also continue her work on ABC's 'True Beauty,' a show she co-created.

!!My friends just recommended an age-gap relationship site. If you put "agegap" and "love" c()m, together, then you will get the URL. It's a nice and free place for Younger Women and Older Men, or Older Women and Younger Men to interact with each other. Age gap is not a problem there. Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.

This web site is not a good idea. I'ts just the underlaw for the overlaw, Sounds like a site for pervs, made to sound innocent, By the way I'm glad that she's leaving she's just following Oprah and trying to do it faster there are no short cut's you gotta work hard like Oprah does. I can't stand Banks, she gives bad advice and has a boat load of personal problems and that show is rubbish, I've prayed for her to get off of the air way's but not to go broke, I think she's has lead a lot of people astray, and she really need's to stay away from parenting issue's. I say thank GOD she's leaving she's a part of our moral problems.

She is outgoing and whatever steps she takes is for the better. Wish Tyra success in all her 2010 plans.

I'm watching your show Judgemental on first impresstions. I just wanted to say my son is 15 almost 6 feet tall and 300 pounds. I hate itw
when people tell me or him "if you just exercited an hour a day" will let me tell you my son is NOT a couch potato. He is outside playing basketball, baseball, footfall whatever the other kids in the neighborhood wants to do. He also plays on a basketball team and is marching band at school. Thay do 12 hour days during band camp. He is very active.
