Don't tell Sheree Whitfield she cannot do something; the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star's retort will simply be "Who gon' check me boo?"
On the heels of the show garnering a nomination for Outstanding Reality Series for this year's NAACP Image Awards, the She by Sheree fashion designer is gearing up for her acting debut.
On Jan.19, she will star in Kendrick D. Young's stage play 'Heaven I Need A Hug,' running at the Granville Arts Center in Garland, Texas through Jan.24.
The divorced mother of two will star as Lisa opposite R&B singer Dave Hollister.
Although the rumor mill has been buzzing, her co-stars Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have been having difficulties negotiating their contracts for the show, Whitfield is set to return for the third season of 'Housewives.'
It was announced yesterday that the network has given a new season a go.
As previously announced, 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' remains the highest rated of the 'Real Housewives' franchise and last season maintained its rank as the #1 series in its Thursday 10 PM time slot.

It's not surprising to see Sheree getting more work outside of ROA. After all, she always shows the most class on the show, although she was a little over-the-top last season. I think her brashness and paroxycism were encourage by Bravo.

I think Sheree is very intelligent although her personality needs improvement. She is pretty and smart. I hope her acting goes well. I think she will do OK long after this show is off. I like that she keeps trying different things. At least she tries. I wonder what all her haters are doing that is great!

I agree with you Liz. Sheree tries and if she fails, she has the confidence to get back up and try. Some people just roll over. Also her fashion sense is great; and she can design.

although she can be a self centered attention phobe at times I think this might be her thing. i agree with many of you she has to do something. i knew she by sheree wasnt gonna make it when she thought the best models in the world would be wearing her clothes on the runway at her first show! and she wanted to show up in a Mabach! r you crazy! lol anyways i hope this works out for her. she'd be great in a soap playing as her self.

I like Sheree, she was my favorite housewife next to Khandi. She's very classy, business savvy, smart, and seems to land on her feet. I admire her confidence, if she is a gold digger, so what! If Tanya is her lover, so what! that's her business. Her clothing line was better than Lisa Wu Hartwell's, That's for damn sure! So Sheree, thumbs up babe, and Kudos to you honey! I'll see ya on the 3rd season of ROA, 'cause I'll be watchin'!
