Well, of course it's true...with the difference being that in America we have ample opportunities to change the tide of destruction.
Unless we STAY IN SCHOOL and instill in our children the vital importance of education, we will forever remain trapped in poverty and ignorance.
Unless we GET A JOB and develop a marketable work ethic, we will be forever consigned to second-class citizenry...and forever trapped under the thumb of the white man's charity.

All this is true but alot of that can apply to Haiti too. Haiti is not the only poor country in the world. India, Central Latin America and parts of Asia are poor as well but they seem to make the best of what they have and support themselves without all of the self-destruction and violence.

We need to speak out more on the conditions in out neighborhoods.We will never have anything until we do.

I agree whole heartedly. When black men stop crying about the white man and cops and stand up as real men and take back their communities from the scumbag, thugs and drug dealers nothing will change. Law abiding black men, women and children must depend on the cops for protection them from black men who have no respect for human life. They want the cops to patrol their communities and complain that they don’t do it enough. They live in fear of getting caught in a gun battle. Blacks kill other blacks on a daily basis, rape women and girls and even boys at will. If there was a strong presence of black men patrolling their streets there wouldn’t be a need for cops to do the job or their presence would be lessen.
When Jews had a crime problem in their communities the men patrolled the streets and crime stopped or was greatly diminished. Anyone they caught paid a serious price. And they did it without any guns just the show of real tough manhood. Its seems that black men can only get together as destructive forces in the name of Crips, Bloods and drug dealing so-called black radical and Muslim groups. They can follow the likes of Farrakhan who has become wealthy off keeping them angry, lazy losers.
Like stupid fools blacks went along with no snitching that only brought unpunished death and chaos to their communities. This was a brilliant move by the thugs and scum. The cops and white racist aren’t the problem its black men who are panty wasted cowards. Gone are the brave black men of the civil rights era that stood up to the KKK and white racist and said they were going to get their freedom, the white man’s foot off their neck by any means necessary with little more than their bravery. Now black men have become pink panty wasted girlie men and say they are scared. The thugs they say got guns and they kill people. Well hell so did the Klan and white militias and that didn’t stop black men from standing up as determine men who made them fear them.
Black men are easy to play and many got suckered and played by the same white man when he systematically let them think they had achieve racial advancement with white women. They baited and manipulated them with a few dollars into a destructive culture of rap that portrayed black men as men to fear and demeaned black women causing a bigger split in the race. Whites played black men like a fiddle and their real feelings and action are being displayed more than ever now. Since they know black men are scared to stand up as men now, how long will it be before an old fashion lynching of a black man? Until black men clean up their act and become men again, the cops, racist will gladly join black men in the killing off of other black men. They will stomp them, slap them around and sodomize them. Who’s going to stop them?

I am so glad to see more BLACK MEN STAND UP AND TELL THE TRUTH, becasue the problems ly with us first and foremost and IT will take us through service to GOD to fix them as black men and women, especially BLACK MEN. In order for a drug addict or alcoholic or person with a severe problem, to fix the problem, THEY MUST FIRST ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM and a lot of US AS BLACK MEN HAVE YET TO DO THAT AND millions more won't do it. Yes some of our problems stem from slavery and Jim crow, but in the last 35 to 40 plus years, we have had a total break down as black men and brought a lot of this suff on ourselves and we have got change a lot of things. And like I said, a lot of us as black men are unaware and will outright refuse to acknowledge that we are the heart of a lot of the failures in BLACK AMERICA, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO THE number OF SINGLE BLACK WOMEN, BROKEN UP HOMES WITHOUT FATHERS, POOR EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS AND SO ON. I try and talk to young black males as a black man with the intent of encouraging black men to seek all the education they can get raher than just playing and relying on sports or rapp, all the while explaining to them that there is a lack of self awareness when it comes to issues affecting black people. STAND UP BLACK MEN, SERVE GOD AND GET BACK TO INSTITUTIONS OF FAMILY, EDUCATION, STRONGER ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL WELL BEING AND THESE THINGS WILL BIND US together as AFRICAN AMERICANS!

What utter nonsense. As black people we have to stick together and not become victim to divide and conquer tactics. With all the negative, preconceived notions about black men that you harbor, how can you possibly be of any help in solving ills present in the black community? People, lets keep this simple. It's critical we realize that from appx ages 0 - 12, these kids are developing in such a way that they can absorb information and learn things easier that will be harder as they get older. It's as if we don't understand human development. The teachers and parents and all adults who care should realize these kids need intense nutrition, academics, music training etc. What's key is support and tutors. Headstart is key for black children and the curriculum should be pushed up a couple of grade levels. Also key: Good teachers and caring, knowledgeable, committed adults. The reason so many of these kids get lost early is because the teachers are incompetent. It's not the kid's fault, it's the ignorant, hateful, immature adult teacher who's lousy at what at what they get paid for. Teach, love and challenge these young children and they'll forever be on the path to success. You can't reach a 14 and 15 yo. Hell, in too many communities, that's the age these idiots think they should start a family. And you negative, no-idea, no-imagination, no-heart people need to stay away from these kids. You're straight poison. Damn, ignorance kills.
