The CW announced today early season renewals for a few of their top shows.

'90210,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'America's Next Top Model,' 'The Vampire Diaries,' and 'Supernatural have all been renewed.

Tristan Wilds, who made a name for himself on the HBO hit 'The Wire,' and who stars as Dixon on '90210' took to Twitter to divulge the good news. "Well just found out we got picked up!!!! 90210!!! Senior Year!!! Season 3 coming soon!" he wrote.

The new season of '90210' as he noted will follow the group of Beverly Hills high schoolers in their senior year.

'Melrose Place' was notably missing from the list of renewed dramas, as was 'One Tree Hill,' 'Smallville,' and the heavily promoted freshman series 'Life Unexpected.'
