Until now, there's been little news about the upcoming third season of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.'
While serving as a panelist at the Essence Magazine/Johnson's Baby Oil-sponsored 'What's Your Beauty Secret?' luncheon in New York City today, entrepreneur-turned-reality star Lisa Wu-Hartwell spilled the beans to the BV Newswire about what viewers can expect for the upcoming third season of Bravo's most popular show.
"We start in two weeks and there's been a little bit of drama already," she confessed.
By drama, the Closet Freak fashion designer is referring to her recent Twitter beef with her cast mate and friend Nene Leakes.
On March 18, Leakes headed to Twitter to voice her disdain with "haters."
"Everybody showing love but I gotta thank the haters because without u, I wouldn't have the publicity so keep up the good work fool," the former stripper and 'Never Make The Same Mistake Twice' author wrote.
"I love chicks that will throw a rock and then hide their hand. Miss wanna be perfect. Oh please," Leakes added.With there already being some confusion between the ladies about an event appearance, Wu-Hartwell took offense to the tweets and replied directly to her friend, asking if the comments were directed at her.
"I was the coolest with Nene, just a couple of weeks ago, but maybe we aren't close anymore," she confided.
"I care about Nene and we butt heads sometimes, but I was closest to Nene ... [so] I will hold off," the 38-year-old mother of three said, cutting herself off before she over-shared her frustration.
"It was like that last year, before we started taping, I had drama with Kim [Zolciak}. I'm like, 'Are you kidding me? We haven't even started,'"s she said.
And speaking of Zolciak, Wu-Hartwell also had a lot to say about the 'Tardy for the Party' singer's highly publicized "bisexual" status.
"Come on," she laughed. "[Kim will do] anything for attention."
"Come on, you're not gay! I have two gay brothers, come on girl, make up your mind," she added.
Zolciak, who recently told Life & Style magazine that she's serious about her girlfriend DJ Tracy Young, is one of the show's most popular characters.
"She is fun TV," Wu-Hartwell admitted. "She's great TV, she really is. They really cast that one."
Today, she was the first to confirm that Zolciak and Leakes, who had been rumored to be holding out on participating in the new season for more money, will be back for a third go round.
"They are all back [and] we are getting another housewife. So, we will see her thrown in the mix."
Though multiple NAACP Image Award-winning soap star Victoria Rowell and the older, ex-wife of the R&B singer Usher Raymond, IV, was rumored to join the cast, Wu-Hartwell says the two front-runners are not actresses or an athlete wife, like herself.
"I don't know which one got it," the former wife of R&B crooner Keith Sweat said, adding, "there are two girls they were looking at. One was a model and one was a feisty attorney and they are just going to show up and we are just going to interact."
The "feisty attorney" could be entertainment attorney Phaedra Parks, who repped Bobby Brown and Jermaine Dupri.
A former associate of one of the cast members is blabbing that Parks, who was a producer for BET's 'Tiny & Toya' series, has been chosen.
Parks has not confirmed the unconfirmed report.
A rep for Bravo could not be reached today.
In the meantime, Wu Hartwell, who recently appeared on Tyler Perry's 'Meet the Browns' TV show, plans to focus on acting and has landed a role in an upcoming martial arts film, which begins shooting in June.

HOUSEWIVES? How many of them are actually married? Nene and Phaedra. That's it. And they both work. Does Bravo have a different interpretation of what a housewife is? Hey Georgia, Lisa's other two kids are by Keith Sweat and they had a contract that their kids could not be part of the show. Personally, this is the best "housewives" show because they have the most drama. DC is dry because they're trying to be too "politically correct." Oh well.

Lisa's kids may not be allowed on the show, but she doesn't even MENTION them, OMG no court in the world would make me agree to THAT. NeNe....I think is really a man in drag, Kim is like Kate Goshlin, trailor trash, Sheree....was probably NeNe's man in a past life & just kept her muscles, and hard core features, Kandi cool, but she couldn't sing her way out of a small paper bag, if she was given multiple chances. They're ALL a waste of our time, but we keep watching, lol. GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!!!!

Really I'm not hating on any of those ladies but please give me a break do something with your time. Besides sitting around talking about people behind their backs,be produtive in your community. You have the opportunity to contribute, and make differences in people lives. Kandi is the only someone that's about her business, and has bank to back it up. Kim is very fake, and if it wasn't for someone else bank she would not have what she has. NeNe you have to change yourself that's why so many things are happening to you, take a look at yourself. Sheree you do not anything to do besides take care of your kids, cook a meal if you try you may like it.Cynthia keep doing what you are doing Peter is a very handsome man.

I think its hilarious when people comment, acting like they "know" these people intimately. Bitches please, you see what they want you to see through the show and publicity - which is probably a bunch of attention wanting bullshizz. You know about as much about these women as you do about Winnie the Pooh's personal life.

lisa wu is a gold digging -----. if you remember seeing the neighborhood when she visited her parents, you can see where she came from. not that there's anything wrong with where she came from, but now she acts too sadity. she hit it big when she met heith sweat, even had babies for him to make sure she was cashing in. did she think he was stupid, he knew what she was doing, she came from nothing so he knew she was trying to use him. she was doing more than using him, it's a lot he's not saying because he doesn't want his boys to ever be able to say that he embarrased, or hurt their mother. but to prove my point; what did she do after keith left her(and by the way, he filed for divorce and custody of the kids, that should be telling you something right there, what judge is going to award custody to the dad?)she went out and found her another rich man. all she's interested in is money. she's a slutty, sleazy, goldigging hefer, and i hope that keith raises those boys until they are old enough to move on their own. whrn she's finished with ed, she'll get another madn with money, she knows the proper venues to hang out in just to meet the right man....and by the way, i don't hate on people who have, because i have just as much. i just don't like gold digging women, when you love someone love them from your soul, not from their pockets.
