R&B songstress Kelis came out a winner in court on Monday when a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered her estranged husband, Nas, to shell out $47,249.42 in back child support for their infant son, Knight, and $40,454 in back spousal support.
As previously reported, Kelis successfully proved that she had difficulty earning money as a new mother, and that Nas had two new albums set for release this year. He was mandated to pay $51,101 per month.
Kelis, who just signed a deal with Will.I.Am's Interscope Records imprint, can thank her high-profile attorney, Laura Wasser, for negotiating a top-notch settlement with the New York-born MC, whose real name is Nasir Olu Bin Dara Jones.
In addition to paying $10,000 per month in spousal support until he pays off the $299,015.50 he owes Kelis, the 'Ether' rapper was ordered to pay 90 percent of the 'Milkshake' singer's legal fees, in the amount of $155,787, and $48,549 to cover Kelis' accounting expenses.

Unfortnuatley Kelis is black, but don't worry Nas will be one of the only rich black men stupid enough to marry a black woman in the first place. I hope rich black men learn a lesson from Nas, and stick to marrying white women, because it's obvious they're much better off with them. Case and point, do you see Tiger Woods' wife running to the divorce lawyer. No! She's the real deal type of white woman that a rich black man needs to marry.

I guess we know now how she plans to pay for ridiculous things like $5,000.00 weaves! I'll bet Nas wishes he had a Pepsi instead.
She sure knows how to milk a man! I hope there is a clause in their agreement to force her to save towards the child's education and not just buy weaves for herself.

WOW, that's a lot of MILKSHAKE $$$$? I too, hope Kelis doesn't blow most of that $$$$ on herself and do what's best for her son? Just because she is a mother now, doesn't mean that she TOO can get out there and start makin records in a year or so? But DAMN that's a lot! I guess she gets what she deserves with back spousal support, accounting expenses, ect..? I guess Kelis wanted a new look and got tired of the short hair? I hope the two of them raise their lil one with lots of love, be civil towards one another, and do what's best for him?

I meant to say in my comment, "Just because she is a mother now, doesn't mean that she can't get out there make music, or work somewhere in a year or so? I guess the woman didn't invest her $$$$ right from the records she made. I heard she didn't have $$$$$?
