BUTCHING IT UP?
Since her smoking-hot appearance at the Academy Awards, actress Zoe Saldana hasn't slowed down. The 'Avatar' star might be busy working the red carpets to promote her latest flicks, 'The Losers' and 'Death at a Funeral,' but she recently confessed that her off-camera persona is leading some folks to believe she might be a lesbian.

"People have sometimes told my grandmother, 'Your granddaughter has a bit of lesbianism in her,'" the 31-year-old New Jersey native told Siempre Mujer magazine.

The Dominican and Puerto Rican beauty confessed there's some truth to the masculine energy that she gives off. "It's that my sisters and I spent all our time among men," she clarified. "We were very popular with them. Our way of thinking is very masculine." Saldana says that the designer dresses are not what makes her feel the most comfortable. "If you want to punish me, send me to get a manicure or dress me in a skirt or shorts and I would die."

Instead, she says she prefers androgynous outfits. "If you dress me in jeans and a button-down blouse, I feel very sexy, feminine and powerful," she declared.

Well, some folks might take issue with her personality, but one thing's for sure, she's far from gay (not that anything would be wrong if she was). Saldana made sure to bring her boyfriend of 10 years, actor Keith Britton, as her date this week to the premiere of 'Death of a Funeral.' Guess that lets everyone know, once and for all, that her eyes are fixed on one man and she's not playing for the other team anytime soon. [E! Online]

CELL BLOCK BLOGGIN'
Lil' Wayne is making his voice heard -- despite serving jail time at Riker's Island.

The imprisoned rapper has had lots of time on his hands to keep up with the latest in sports news. Not only is he keeping up with recent football trades, but the New Orleans native is also making sure he shares his thoughts.

The Grammy Award winner, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, headed to his blog, WeezyThanxYou.com, and wrote, "McNab[b] to the Skins...wow!" He added, "I think this will be a great year for all involved. Except the Eagles. One reason is because I don't think Andy Reid was ready to part ways with the soon to be 34 year old veteran." Weezy called former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb's trade to the Washington Redskins "the craziest QB trade since Brett to the Vikings." Wayne also said he will be resuming his blogger status for ESPN soon. [Eurweb]

GAGA FOR MINAJ?

The news on the streets is Nicki Minaj is about to join Lady Gaga for her summer arena tour. The Young Money Records rap starlet told fans that she had to turn down an opportunity to hit the road with Rihanna and Ke$ha last week, citing a need to concentrate on finishing up her debut album.

A New York native, who recently fired her old manager, Minaj recently hired Lady Gaga's manager, Troy Carter. So, hitting the road with the baddest pop star seemed like a natural fit.

But is Ri-Ri going to be upset about the change of heart? [Bossip]

DIFFERENT KIND OF STUDIO FOR DIDDY
Forget the recording studio. Diddy was at home at the actors' studio. This week, the Bad Boy Records founder was the interview subject of a new episode of 'Inside the Actor's Studio' with James Lipton. The music mogul said that Lipton had asked him to do the show for the past three years, but even though he appeared in the Academy Award-winning film 'Monster's Ball,' he didn't feel up to par with some of Hollywood's biggest names.

"I'm looking at Meryl Streep up there, and [Martin] Scorsese, Al Pacino and Denzel [Washington] and Chris Rock. He was saying he wanted to take it from a different perspective of somebody on the rise. I appreciated that."

But now the 'Raisin in the Sun' actor says the time seems right. "After doing Broadway and now with 'Get Him to the Greek' coming out ... the time is right."

We hear Diddy showed off some of his signature dance moves for the audience at Tuesday's New York City taping, which was held at Pace University. His mother, Janice, and son Justin were in the audience showing support. That episode airs May 25. [MTV News]

DARK & LOVELY
Single life seems to be doing Lance Gross good.

The 'Our Family Wedding' star decided to show off his strapping physique to his adoring fans via Twitter earlier this week.

Gross, a Howard University alum, took to the bathroom at his gym to take a candid shot of himself. When several folks pointed out the toilet in the background, he decided to make light of the venue and snap a closeup shot of it.

In other news, the dark and debonair hottie and his ex-fiancé, Eva Marcille finally decided to release a statement officially confirming that their summer wedding has been called off. The pair also added that the decision to end the relationship was mutual and amicable and that "both parties remain friends." Riggghhhttt. [Global Grind]

RUDE BUSINESS
PETA won't seem to be happy until every pop star decides to give up fur.

After a very vocal online back-and-forth with Kelis, the organization, which is dedicated to stopping people from wearing fur, among other things, has now launched its campaign against Rihanna. They voted the 'Rude Boy' singer one of the worst dressed celebs for her use of fur, and now there's even a Facebook page out there created by a PETA activist named Marissa to try to convince the Def Jam Records artist to stop wearing animals. The page's goal is to get 10,000 people to become advocates for Rihanna not wearing fur.

"As someone who got bashed, Rihanna should recognized the pointless suffering of others – like the animals bashed and killed for her furs," the page states, referring to her infamous assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Currently, the page has drummed up more than 5,000 members. At this rate, PETA might be within reach of the 10,000 it's looking for. [PETA]
