IS MO ' MAD AT O?
Earlier this week, Oprah Winfrey aired an interview with Oscar winner Mo'Nique's brother, Gerald Imes, who sexually abused the 'Precious' star. Mo'Nique said she channeled her estranged sibling, whom she called a "monster," when playing her award-winning role of Mary Jones -- in the gritty film Winfrey executive produced. Though the late-night BET talk show host gave Winfrey her blessings to conduct the controversial interview, Mo'Nique denied participating in the show, which also featured the plus-size funnywoman's estranged parents.
Now, sources say she's "less than impressed with how the interview played out."
After watching the top-rated daytime talk show, the Baltimore native allegedly felt that her brother lied about abusing her while she was sleeping, and that he "was not sympathetic enough toward her." As revealed on the show, the mother of three decided to cut ties with Imes after giving birth to her twin boys. She told her older brother that she does not trust him around her children. 'THRILLER ' MOVIE SET TO GO
Looks like Spike Lee is getting ready to give Michael Jackson a proper send off.
The acclaimed director will release 'Brooklyn Loves You, Michael Jackson,' a film about Brooklyn residents who throw a concert as a tribute to the late King of Pop. The movie is loosely based on a party Lee threw in Brooklyn last summer. Samuel L. Jackson has signed on to star in the movie. The two men have a long history together. They attended Morehouse College around the same time, and Jackson appeared in several of Lee's films.
At a recent press conference, the 'Pulp Fiction' star said, "[Spike Lee] was bent out of shape about Michael Jackson's death for a long time. [He was] depressed. I guess the depression set him into writing that story. He was disturbed by the death."
No word on when the movie will be made. Lee, who attended the New York Prince/Michael Jackson party last week and danced until the wee hours of the night to some of the 'Thriller' singer's biggest hits, directed Jackson's 'They Don't Care About Us' music video in the 1990s, and the posthumous 'This is It' clip last year. BABY MAMA BUSINESS
It's no secret that Lil' Wayne has more than a few kids, and that two of the mothers of his children, actress Lauren London and singer Nivea, were pregnant around the same time.
London, who starred in 'ATL' opposite T.I. sat down with Quddus for TV One's 'Our New Hollywood: The 10 Hottest Tweens, Teens and Twenty-Somethings' show. There, she chatted about how hard it was for her to hear what people had to say about her decision to have a child with the Grammy Award-winning rap icon.
"They talked about me so bad during my pregnancy. ...It [was tough]. I'm not going to lie," she said. "When a woman is pregnant, to me, it's her most beautiful and as pure as she can be, and I felt like they took everything away from me." She also added, "At some point, it did hurt my feelings, and I had to let it go because it was distracting me from what God had me doing. At this point, what can they say? Go ahead." London said that raising her 6-month-old son hasn't been difficult because she has a great support system, including Wayne, who is currently incarcerated. Not only does London have "no complaints" about Wayne as a father, she made sure to clarify, "I am not parenting him alone," and that the Young Money Records head is "a great dad." [Access Hollywood]

LOOSE AS A BUCKET OF JUICE
Jamie Foxx isn't the only Oscar winner singing 'Blame It On The Alcohol.'
'Jerry Maguire' star Cuba Gooding Jr. reportedly had a wild night on the town in Spokane, Wash. Unfortunately for the Hollywood actor, video cameras were also watching when he decided to launch into his "Show me the money" catchphrase from 'Jerry Maguire' to the pleasure of bar patrons at the Blue Spark.
Hand in the air and head nodding, he added, "May those all over the world love us." Gooding, Jr. then yelled, "I want y'all to pay attention. Hey! Hey! Fire, fire." Although most of his lofty, drunken speech was incoherent, the patrons didn't seem to mind. They joined in with screams after he shouted, "God bless the U.S.A." [TMZ]

CAN'T DO IT ALL
Idris Elba probably needs to stick to acting.
The British actor was playing soccer with friends and ended up tearing his Achilles. The hunky 'Wire' actor later appeared on the Jonathan Ross show and joked, "I was going to tell you I was climbing up a volcano, but I wasn't. I was about to score when he [a friend] caught me from the back."
Well, he might have to get around on crutches, but the heartthrob is heating up the box office.
Elba's new movie, 'The Losers,' just hit theaters this weekend. [Bossip]

DARLING NICKI
Despite rumors that she's a lesbian, Nicki Minaj doesn't seem to be coming out of the closet anytime soon.
But, the Young Money rapper said she hopes to see a gay rapper in the near future. "I think the world is getting more gay-friendly, so hip-hop is, too," the New York native said.
"It's harder to imagine an openly gay male rapper being embraced," she added. "People view gay men as having no street credibility, but I think it will happen in my lifetime."
Minaj is rumored to be hitting the road with Lady Gaga for a summer tour. [Details]

Mo needs to shuddup! She played herself in that movie. I am not saying that of a molester; I am referring to her vulgar loud mouth. I am so sick and tired of Mo! While I would agree her brother should not be around her children, neither should she. Her behavior can ALSO be demaging to them. For the sake of her children, she needs to deal with herself and her so-called open marriage and forget her brother.

Unless you live in her household you don't know what type of morhter she is to say that she needs to be away from her children so you can shut up with that. You know no more than what the rest of us do. Its whole nother thing to forget an abuse especially from your blood. You sounded so crazy on this post you need to stay away from your kids

@RICH - Now that you have demonstrated YOUR IGNORANCE by attempting to attack me instead of responding to the topic, do you have anything to say about the article?

Seriously, do I think she should be mad, no. Its news, she's in the public eye. If Oprah didn't do it, someone else would've. After that terric, unseemingly real performance I think we all were wondering about it any way. Everyone was talking about the fact that she played the part so well that they thought she must have lived "precious" herself. So Oprah just did her job.
But about you dissing her as a parent! You don't know her like that and you should'nt make crude statements like that about anyone. Furthermore, you should be more sensitive to what victims of sexual abuse go through. It is something neither of us will ever understand but from what I've heard everyone deals with it differently and some never get over it, some live in fear for the rest of their lives. My daughter was molested at the age of 5, not because I was a bad mother but she was staying with her father on weekends and his step-son molested my daughter. When I figured it out, I made sure to remove her from that situation and made sure he could never get near her again even as it envolved supervised visitation 1 hour week her father. Did I feel keeping her from her father was beneficial or damaging to her? Some of both, but I had to put my daughter first. There was nothing I could've done to prevent it from happening in the first place but I made dam sure it wouldn't happen again. And I got my daughter all the help I could get her and gave her all the love I could possibly give her AND PRAISE GOD, she has not been profoundly affected by it so far (she's now 14). But I guess you would classify me as a bad mother too. I tend to disagree with you and I tend to think from your comments that you are insentive, rude and ignorant. May God bless you and I hope you never have to experience what Monique has

@ Retta>>> I tend to disagree with you and I tend to think from your comments that you are insentive, rude and ignorant. May God bless you and I hope you never have to experience what Monique has>>
Retta, it is your right and choice to disagree. However, usually, when an intelligent person disagrees he/she states why without attacking the person. Your above referenced remarks about me are indicative of one sorely lacking in the desire and ability to focus on the topic and not the person you disagree with. In addition, after calling me names you "bless" me. Well, I will show you how to respond to a person you disagree with:
My comment was not about those who have been molested nor the parents of such. My comment was relative to Mo, the article. I used to work with children who have been molested and their parents. My heart goes out to all. So, next time you come across an article and subsequent comments --- try not to use the board or forum as a means to express yourself about something that has nothing to do with the subject. If you want an forum for your frustrations --- there are a number of fora on online --- find one that works for you. Peace:)

When Mo first started talking about this, I felt bad for her. I thought her brother was an adult when this happened. But then I found out that he was 13 and she was 7. Yes it was wrong, but he was 13. I really don't think you can label him as a "monster" at the age of 13. I hate to say this, but kids do experimental stuff like this around that age. They don't fully understand at that age. What had did as an adult is another story. I hope you guys understand what I mean.

Evern, I am not a child molester. I simply mentioned what children do. I won't get into a spat you with about this. You know nothing about me and have no right to say something like that to me. Have a good day.
